Facebook Love: Nigerian Lady Dies After First Meeting With Married Lover She Met On Facebook.

Adekemi Faboro reportedly died after her first meeting with a married man she met on Facebook, according to a report by PM News. The teacher with a primary school in Ogba had met with the married man, one Christopher Ezekiel, online sometime ago and they started an online relationship, communicating on phone and through Facebook messages.

The two later agreed to meet for the first time this past weekend. Ezekiel left his wife and 2 children in Ibadan and traveled down to Lagos where he stayed in Adekemi’s house at a street off Ajayi Road, Ogba.

Trouble started when Adekemi started coughing profusely in the middle of the night. Her concerned neighbors who could hear her coughing came to inquire what the problem was.

Seeing that she was not getting any better, they rushed her to the Ifako General Hospital in Lagos where she died.

Ezekiel was immediately arrested by policemen attached to the Pen Cinema Police station in Ogba. Her body has since been deposited at the morgue and an autopsy is expected to be conducted on her to determine the cause of her death.

Card Reader Jammers: Opposition Have Lost Control Of Their Senses, Says Fani-Kayode.

The Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation, PDPPCO, has accused the All Progressives Congress of “coming up with a different lie every day of the week”.

The Director of Media and Publicity of the Campaign Organization, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, who reacted to the opposition party’s allegation that the Federal Government and the PDP were planning to render the smart card readers ineffective on Election Day, said the allegation was wild and baseless.

We had earlier reported that the APC spokesman, Lai Mohammed, on Monday raised the alarm over the plan by the Goodluck Jonathan Administration and the PDP to render card readers ineffective on Election Day, with a view to justifying their fears about the use of the device and ultimately to scuttle the polls.

Mr. Mohammed further claimed that to this end, the PDP-led federal government had contracted an Israeli, who has developed card reader jammers, which would be air freighted to the country next week.

Reacting, Mr. Fani-Kayode said the Federal Government and the PDP did not have any plans to sabotage the card readers and did not need to indulge in such “shady, sinister and tardy practices”.

“We view this wild and baseless allegation with amusement”, Mr. Fani-Kayode. “Frankly the APC deserves to be pitied. So desperate are they for power that their latest strategy is to come up with a different lie for every day of the week.

“They have lost control of their senses; their imagination has gone wild and they see things that are simply not there.

“This latest allegation is absurd; it is not rooted in truth; it is irrational and it is illogical. It is clear that the opposition are already preparing the grounds and making excuses for their own defeat.

“They are running scared and they are already preparing the minds of their supporters for their imminent failure at the polls.
