Artistes Only:- 7 Facts Why Most Upcoming Artistes Will Never Blow

Most upcoming artistes fail to blow not by destiny or ill
luck, but as a result of lack of priorities, styles and many
more which we shall discuss.

1. They Don’t Advertise Themselves
If you think miracle is all you need to blow, then you must
be seriously sleeping on a moving bicycle. To blow in
Nigeria, you have to advertise yourself aggressively and
give it whatever it takes. As a matter of fact, it’s not a bad
idea advertising that track of yours on stellanaija where

2. They Patronize Cheap Producers

overemphasized anytime any day. Most upcoming artistes
may not blow because they always patronize backyard
producers who will produce 5 tracks for them at the rate of
N10, 000. Ooooh common that ridiculously cheap !!.
We know you are not rich yet! But at least, spending as
little as N20, 000 to produce a single track is much more
better than seeking producers who produce 5 tracks for
N10, 000

3. Lack of Creativity
What makes one stand out amongst his peers is creativity
and uniqueness. However, many upcoming artistes fail to
get to the peak of their dreams not because witches and
wizards are following them, but because they are not
creative in any way.

4. Pride
Pride is also a determinant of how far one will go in his
music career. However, it is very evident that it’s the habit
of most upcoming artistes to always give people a false
sense of their financial status through their dressings,
spending and what not. They are sometimes proud that they
raise shoulders to people who are meant to help or make
their dreams come true in a little way they can. This is one
of the reasons why many of them have failed to blow

5. Poor Dress Sense
They say your appearance is the first letter of
recommendation. The mode of dressing of many upcoming
artistes is sometimes childish and annoying. You see many
of them dressing like masquerades; looking unkempt, poor
colour combination, unattractive hairstyle, and many more
which I cannot mention. The truth of the matter is that,
when your appearance cannot catch people”s fancy, how do
you convince them to listen to your track?

6. Immature Lyrics
Good lyrics and punch lines is all you need to at least gain
some recognition. When you listen to the songs of many
upcoming artistes, you will keep wondering if the songs
was composed within the ambit of 5mins. That is, they sing
a chorus repeatedly for about three minutes after which a
verse will follow suite and that’s the end of the song.
Haba !!! It may be working for Vizkid but that doesn’t
mean you should try that

7. Imitating The Style Of Others
To succeed in life, you have to do something others are not
doing, or what they have never done. As a matter of fact,
we know that 2face already has his own style and that’s his
brand…. 😛

Rapper DMX Sentence To 6 Months In Jailed

The rapper was jailed in Buffalo, New York yesterday July 14th for failing to comply with a family court ruling. He was asked by a court to pay back child support to one of his baby mamas but he didn’t. When he appeared in court yesterday, a judge slapped him with a 6 months sentence and he was immediately locked up in Erie County Holding Center.

DMX has been arrested many times in the past few years, but this is the first prison sentence since 2011.

Newly Appointed Service Chiefs Men To Officially Resume Duties Today

The newly appointed service chiefs will formally assume office after the official handover by their immediate predecessors today at the Defence
Headquarters, Abuja.

This was confirmed yesterday in a text message by the Director of Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, stating that the new Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) and Chief of Air Staff (CAS) would all commence their official duties today.

This is to inform interested candidates as well as the general public that application for the 2015 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)November/December has begun.

Since the inception of the 2015/2016 WAEC GCE Nov/Dec Registration, we have been receiving mails from different candidates regarding the price of the WAEC GCE scratch card and locations where the scratch cards are sold.

From the information reaching us, the 2015/2016 WAEC GCE Registration scratch card goes for N11,400. WAEC GCE registration scratch cards can be gotten from WAEC offices nationwide, any Nigerian post office nationwide and the underlisted commercial banks:

The National Examinations Council (NECO) – Candidates Intending to register for the 2015 November/December NECO Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) are hereby informed that registration will be strictly on-line using the NECO registration website [url]=http://ift.tt/1f3v3X7] Registration can be done on the website at any time within the stipulated registration period. Passport Photograph will be required during on-line registration. The candidates passport photograph should NOT be more than SIX MONTHS old and must be of white background.

2015 November/December Senior School certificate Examination (SSCE) Registration for External Candidates

Registration Fee/Mode of Payment

To register, interested candidates should obtain a bank draft of Eleven Thousand Three Hundred and Fifty Naira (N 11,350) Only, payable to the Registrar, National Examinations Council in any of the NECO State Offices nationwide or in cash in any designated Bank or NIPOST offices nationwide. The registration fee includes cost for Biometric Data Capture, an Examination Ethics CD and Administrative Charges. Interested Banks and NIPOST Headquarters should visit NECO Headquarters for further clarifications.

Attestation/Photo Cards and Examination Time-Table
On completion of the registration process, each candidate must obtain the following from the internet cafe:

Time Table for the Examination; and
One (1) clear copy of the NECO Attestation/Photo card; which should be presented for each examination. (Candidates should note that Attestation/Photo cards that are not clear will NOT be accepted at the examination hall).

Blind Candidates

Blind candidates are to register like everyone. However, the NECO State Officer of the state where they intend to write the examination should be notified of their physical status immediately after registration.

Examinations Centres

The -towns where the examination will be held have been grouped into examination towns/neighborhoods. Candidates should select a town/neighborhood within the state where they intend to sit for the examination.

General Information

The Registration fee, once paid, is not refundable.
The use of reputable cyber cafes is highly recommended as the Council will not be liable for registration errors committed by candidates. (A list of suggested cyber cafes nationwide where candidates can log on to register are available on the NECO website – www.mynecoexams.com or are physically on display at our State offices nationwide)
Biometric Fingerprints will be captured along with the registration of each candidate.
Candidates should ensure that their fingerprints are captured correctly during registration. Candidates with fingerprints not verified on the day of the examination will not be allowed to sit for the examination.
Candidates should carefully follow the instructions on the on-line scratch card before registration.
Candidates should study the Regulations and Syllabuses before registration.
Candidates should note that their uploaded image/photograph during the registration will be embossed on their certificates.

Smoking, cellular phones and other electronic communication devices are not allowed in the examination hall
Candidates should dress in mufti and no one will be allowed entry into the examination hall with arms.
Multiple entries are not allowed. Candidates who register more than once will have their entire results cancelled.
Candidates who damage or lose their scratch cards before registration will have to purchase another card.
Please note that No candidate shall be allowed into an examination hall once an examination commences.
Candidates are no longer required to stamp or submit their attestation/photo cards in NECO state offices nationwide. A clear copy of the downloaded attestation/photo card, duly signed and stamped by a referee should be presented for each paper.
