Erhiatake Ibori, daughter of the former governor of Delta State James Ibori, won the PDP House of Assembly ticket for Ethiope West constituency on 29th November 2014. She clinched the party’s ticket during the state PDP primaries which other contenders boycotted, making her emerge the winner.
A few days ago, she inaugurated the ‘ambubike’ service at the Civic Centre, Oghara in Delta State. The initiative showcased Starlite Hopes Initiative (SHI)’s free ambulance service.
Erhiatake’s Starlite Hopes Initiative, which provides free ambulance service equipped with vehicles and motorbikes, has as vision: assisting in saving lives by providing a network of fully equipped basic life support ambulances and quadbulances; providing counseling on health issues, and preventive measure against disease, treatment for malaria, water-borne diseases and sensitization of the people to maximize community capacity on health service and promoting community development and capacity building through good governance and volunteer work.
