How To Make 4GNetwork Appear On Your Androids

Hello guys These is a process on how to make 4G
netty apoear in ya android phone If you have a 4G SIM, 4G
contract, and your phone
supports your carrier’s 4G
bands but you still can’t get a
4G/LTE connection, you
made need to enable LTE mode on your modem. Here’s
how to do it.
1 – Check your current
settings. This is important to
retain 3G data when moving
out of 4G range. You can find this under Settings >
Tethering & Networks >
Mobile Network > Network
Mode
If you don’t see LTE listed
there, then proceed to step 2. If it’s there, select it. Failing
that then you have a
different problem.
2 – go to your dialer and paste
*#*#4636#*#*
Alternatively, you can use the 4G LTE Switch app to skip to
step 4.
3 – a menu will open
automatically. Click on Phone
Info and scroll down to
where it says Pick Prefered Network Type.
4 – Press the drop down box
and select the option that
adds LTE along with your old
options.
E.g. for me before it said GSM/WCDMA, so now I pick
LTE/GSM/WCDMA to turn
on 4G
5 – your network will
reconnect and you should
now see a 4G icon appear in the top bar.
Note – Rebooting your phone
or navigating back to
Settings > Tethering &
Networks > Mobile Network
will reset your connection to default, meaning that you will
lose 4G and have to start
again!
I have no idea why this is an
issue, it’s ridiculous. By there
you go, hope that solves your problem.

PDP Says:- We Won’t Accept Any Result From an INEC Headed by Buhari’s Daughter ‘Zakari’

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP is insisting that Amina Zakari, acting chairperson of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC must go.

PDP National Publicity secretary, Oliseh Metuh, says the party will reject results of elections conducted by Zakari whom they claim is like a “daughter” to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to the National Democratic Institute and International Republican Institute in Abuja, Metuh said, ”We have INEC and the idea is that people heading it should be above board, but the present ruling party has appointed the ‘daughter’ of the President to head the position. There is no where in the world where such has happened, a person who has a relationship with the President.

”I am drawing the attention of the IRI that Buhari has appointed his ‘daughter’ as INEC Chairman, we believe there will not be fairness. It will be very difficult to accept any result of the election conducted by Amina Zakari. It will be difficult for PDP to accept result of election if we lose under Zakari”.

Crowd Gather To Watch Man Sitting On Nothing In Ikeja (Shocking Pictures)

An eyewitness came across this yesterday evening in the Ikeja area of Lagos and took photos. The man sat on nothing for more than 30 minutes. Your question must be, ‘how on earth did he accomplish that?’. Well, it’s called magic; the art of creating illusions using rarely known methods that don’t have to involve any spirituality.

World Record:- Guy Sets New World Record By Kicking Himself In The Head 134 Times In 1 Minute

Kicking yourself in the head might simply sound stupid to most people, but it’s also unbelievably hard, requiring extreme flexibility and stability. Doing it 134 times in just 60 seconds sounds impossible, which is what makes Puskar Nepal’s record so impressive. Scoop has more:

The young Nepalese apparently spent eight months developing his own head-kicking technique, which involved bending his upper body to an almost 90-degree angle and using both feet to kick his forehead, while maintaining his balance. One of the witnesses of Puskar’s official Guinness World Record attempt at Kantipur City College in Kathmandu, Nepal, said he was so amazed by his speed that he had to watch the whole thing in slow motion to accurately count the number of kicks.

Luckily for Puskar, he managed to kick his head 134 times in one minute, breaking the old record of 127, set in 2013 by Joel Leindecker of the USA on the set of ‘Guinness World Records Unleashed’ in Los Angeles, California. Asked what motivated him to try and set a new Guinness record, Puskar Nepal said “I want to contribute something for the poor people of rural areas. I want the people from different countries to know about me. Breaking a world record has always been a dream for me.”

Inspired by his successful attempt, Puskar is now looking for new challenges. “I’m now so passionate aboutGuinness World Records that I aim to set more than 100 records,” he said. “I believe my records would help promote my country, birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha, around the globe. Also I want to prove that people from a small and poor country like Nepal can also do anything. I want to be inspiration of the people of my country.”

Air Plane Propeller Rips Through Roof In Upstate New York

A plane propeller ripped through the roof of a home in upstate New York on Thursday after it fell off a single-engine plane flying over the Montgomery County village. Police said no one was hurt in the incident. The owners of the home on Green Acres Lane were not home at the time. UPI reports:

According to the Daily Gazette, the pilot of the aircraft had “enough altitude and speed to glide into the pilot’s nearby private landing strip without incident.” Though he did not identify who was flying the plane, State Police Senior Investigator Jeffrey Ullman said no one was charged. The Federal Aviation Administration, who was notified of the event, will join state police in an official investigation.
Ullman said that the most important thing was that no one was injured. “This was an older plane, but it was a pretty good size propeller. So everyone was very lucky.”

It was reported the plane was experiencing engine trouble while in flight. When the propeller collided into the home, Ullman said that the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department swept the area for rubble from the aircraft, but nothing turned up.

“As they started to clear out another call came in that a house had sustained some damage from a propeller,” he said. “It went right through the roof and into the attic area, causing some damage to the walls. He was fortunate that it didn’t damage his plane when it came off.”

Reasons He Loves You

These are the main reasons he loves you..

1.Respect;this is one of the key to have a guy by your side, respecting him is what make him come back to you.he will never forget the fact that someone was they who respect him for who he was, respect is feelings,do as he say when he want it.

2.Trust;This fact lack so much in our modern relationship, where by one party accuses the other in things that are not important due to lack of trust, never let your trust for him die easily because of words from friends, trust him when he deserve it,this simply means that the amount of trust you put help keep the relationship moving.

3.Contentment; in this area it is always expected for the both parties to be contented with either big or small things they have ,I.e to say the woman should not always ask or seek for note material things as thins can lead to problem maybe when the partner telling her that he doesn’t have up to that expectation and the woman here will insist and in such cases might lead to serious crises..

4.Understanding; this word alone is a well known word that we have had enough of it when it comes to courtship issues, this role is be of the best part both parties apply to show they really know each other well sorry to say this some might say he’s too hard for me this normally brings problem because it is expected to for the both parties to come in union I.e understand each other I.e to say the woman may use a nice scene using either tricks to ask the man what he likes/dislike then this may pave way for the both parties to share their thought on the aspect of understanding because while he/she is saying this you are also giving him/her a listening ear so that you will take note of the likes and dislike because what you may like doing often might be what he hates bittterly or he/she is the type that get upset over minimal things so you have to ammend your ways to suite in a more respectfull way in other for the courtship to last wella

Artistes Only:- 7 Facts Why Most Upcoming Artistes Will Never Blow

Most upcoming artistes fail to blow not by destiny or ill
luck, but as a result of lack of priorities, styles and many
more which we shall discuss.

1. They Don’t Advertise Themselves
If you think miracle is all you need to blow, then you must
be seriously sleeping on a moving bicycle. To blow in
Nigeria, you have to advertise yourself aggressively and
give it whatever it takes. As a matter of fact, it’s not a bad
idea advertising that track of yours on stellanaija where
we have music freaks who are always at alert to download
Stellanaija front page musics, and may not even hesitate
to share it with their friends if it’s really worth it. You can
ask Qdot and Olamide, they will confirm to you that good
music will surely help your Career.

2. They Patronize Cheap Producers
You need not sing like Michael Jackson before you blow.
However, the impact of good production cannot be
overemphasized anytime any day. Most upcoming artistes
may not blow because they always patronize backyard
producers who will produce 5 tracks for them at the rate of
N10, 000. Ooooh common that ridiculously cheap !!.
We know you are not rich yet! But at least, spending as
little as N20, 000 to produce a single track is much more
better than seeking producers who produce 5 tracks for
N10, 000

3. Lack of Creativity
What makes one stand out amongst his peers is creativity
and uniqueness. However, many upcoming artistes fail to
get to the peak of their dreams not because witches and
wizards are following them, but because they are not
creative in any way.

4. Pride
Pride is also a determinant of how far one will go in his
music career. However, it is very evident that it’s the habit
of most upcoming artistes to always give people a false
sense of their financial status through their dressings,
spending and what not. They are sometimes proud that they
raise shoulders to people who are meant to help or make
their dreams come true in a little way they can. This is one
of the reasons why many of them have failed to blow

5. Poor Dress Sense
They say your appearance is the first letter of
recommendation. The mode of dressing of many upcoming
artistes is sometimes childish and annoying. You see many
of them dressing like masquerades; looking unkempt, poor
colour combination, unattractive hairstyle, and many more
which I cannot mention. The truth of the matter is that,
when your appearance cannot catch people”s fancy, how do
you convince them to listen to your track?

6. Immature Lyrics
Good lyrics and punch lines is all you need to at least gain
some recognition. When you listen to the songs of many
upcoming artistes, you will keep wondering if the songs
was composed within the ambit of 5mins. That is, they sing
a chorus repeatedly for about three minutes after which a
verse will follow suite and that’s the end of the song.
Haba !!! It may be working for Vizkid but that doesn’t
mean you should try that

7. Imitating The Style Of Others
To succeed in life, you have to do something others are not
doing, or what they have never done. As a matter of fact,
we know that 2face already has his own style and that’s his
brand…. 😛

After previous failures, I was scared of contesting the 2015 election – President Buhari

President Buhari says he was scared of contesting in the 2015 presidential election after his failures in past elections. He said this while addressing APC leaders during the breaking of the Ramadan fast at the presidential villa yesterday July 14th

“No matter the level you are, drop your influence so that we can help achieve the manifesto – security, economy, employment and corruption- because if we don’t kill corruption, corruption will kill Nigeria. We have to ensure that people we bring forward are those that will move the society forward.

I always like to go down the memory lane to show how lucky we are as a political group. At no stage was the decision taken by chance, it was all deliberate. The leaders of the parties felt the only way to wrest power from the PDP was for us to come together. I, in particular, was scared after previous failures of the elections of 2003, 2007 and 2011. We dissolved our various parties to form APC, then we applied to INEC, for once I was grateful to INEC. We had gone with nine people to INEC to apply and INEC advised us that we needed at least 25 people to form a political party. We were able to go back and raised 35 members across the country and then successfully registered the party.

INEC then informed the federal government that we have met the requirements hence we cannot be denied registration. Many doubting Thomases said merger had never succeeded in Nigeria but here we are. I went into this long explanation so that you will appreciate how far we have come and for a society as ours, if we respect the constitution, then all the greed and problems will be a thing of the fast.”he said

Deposit money banks in the country have commenced implementation of charges on cash withdrawal in excess of the stated limit.

This is following the end of the suspension of charges on withdrawals for both individual and corporate account holders in 30 states of the federation till July 1, 2015.

The Central Bank of Nigeria had in June 2014 explained that the waiver was to give banks time to deploy adequate infrastructure needed to support the and sensitisation of bank customers on the importance of the policy.

Consequently, messages have been flying from the banks reminding their customers of the nationwide implementation of charges on excess withdraws.

A statement from Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB) to it numerous customers reads (We refer to the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) cashless policy, and the previous communication deferring charges on cash withdrawals above the daily limits, in 30 states of Nigeria till July 1, 2015.

UN Says World Can End AIDS By 2030

The UN has said the world can end the AIDS epidemic within 15 years, but senior officials said that would only be possible by breaking the pharmaceutical industries “tight grip” on government policies.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said reaching the goal would be difficult but achievable in a report released in Ethiopia on Tuesday.

“Ending the AIDS epidemic as a public health threat by 2030 is ambitious, but realistic, as the history of the past 15 years has shown,” Ban said in the report.

The UN Millennium Development Goal to halt and reverse the spread of the disease has been achieved, said UNAIDS, the global body’s agency focusing on the disease.

UNAIDS is driving efforts to end the epidemic by 2030 by enabling everyone to have access to prevention services, treatment and support.

“During the first decade of the epidemic, there was very little to offer someone dying from AIDS,” Michel Sidibe, executive director of UNAIDS, said in the report.

The key to change, he said, was breaking the pharmaceutical industry’s “tight grip” on government policies and drug prices.
Some 15 million people are receiving antiretroviral treatment for HIV/AIDS, a staggering increase from less than 700,000 in 2000.

At that time, patients had to take an average of eight pills per day, costing $10,000 a year. Today, medicines can be bought for $100 a year.

These medicines keep the virus from growing and multiplying helping people to live longer and reducing the chances that they will transmit HIV to others.

Legislation allowing developing countries to override patent rights was critical, allowing them to manufacture copies of the drugs and cut prices.

AIDS-related deaths have dropped more than 40 percent since 2004 to 1.2 million a year, the report said, adding new HIV infections have fallen by 35 percent since 2001 to 2 million a year in 2014.

Investment in HIV/AIDS surged to almost $22bn in 2015 from less than $5bn in 2001.

One of the biggest successes has been reducing new infections among children by 58 percent between 2000 and 2014, the agency said.

This has been achieved by ensuring women with HIV receive medicine to prevent them from passing on the infection when they give birth.

Last month, Cuba became the first country in the world to eliminate mother-to-child transmission of HIV.

Presd.Buhari,Vp Osinbajo’s Voluntary Pay Cut “Cosmetic” – NLC •Says Minimum Wage Due For Review

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) said on Tuesday that the voluntary salary cut undertaken by President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, would not in any way improve the economy of the country.
The NLC Secretary-General, Peter Eson-Ozo, made this assertion in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.
“For some individuals to voluntarily decide to cut their salaries, I think it is cosmetic and I believe we should be more systematic than that”.
“I think, to begin with, the law, the constitution, prescribes how public office salaries are fixed; if any public officer chooses to reduce his salary, he can donate it to charity or donate it to whomever”.
Mr. Eson-Ozo noted that the labour movement had for sometime been clamouring for a reduction in the cost of governance, adding that this should not be by cutting salaries.
He said the bulk of what was driving governance cost was outside the prescribed salary.
“Any person or the president or any other public officer who then arbitrarily gets up and cuts salary when the law does not put the fixing of that salary in his power, creates a legal problem.
“I think that we need to address things in a systematic way”.
Mr. Eson-Ozo said it was imperative for the government to focus deeper on ways to reign in the cost of governance rather than the cosmetic announcement of slash in salaries by some public officers.
According to him, the process of fixing salary is an institutionalised one and not up to any individual to do.
“Because if you can cut salary, does it mean you can just wake tomorrow and increase salary?.
“These are issues we need to take on board in order for us to have a robust type of approach to the system”, Mr. Eson-Ozo said.
On the issue of the minimum wage, the NLC scribe urged the Federal Government to begin preparation for the review of the salaries of Nigerian workers.
He stressed the need to begin the review process by setting up a tripartite committee to kick-start.
“Every five years, the minimum wage is supposed to be reviewed and the current wage will be due for replacement by next year.
“It is important for the Federal Government to start the process; preparation should have started before now.
“That is, the process of the preparation in terms of gathering information and analysing them, in order to have the law reviewed for at least another five years”.
Mr. Eson-Ozo said that the labour movement had over time reminded government of the provision of the law which stipulates a review of the minimum wage every five years.
He added that it was important to constitute the tripartite committee, to avoid other issues arising within the limited time.
The NLC Secretary-General also warned government against any plan to slash workers salaries, saying that the economic situation in the country was not favourable.

FG Declares Friday and Monday As Public Holidays For Eid-el-Fitr Celebration

The Federal Government has declared Friday, July 17 and Monday, July 20 as public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Mr Abubakar Magaji, made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.

The statement, signed by the Ministry’s Director of Press, Mr Yusuf Isiaka, called for prayers for the nation as Muslims celebrate successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

He urged Muslims in particular and Nigerians in general to extend the spiritual benefits of Ramadan, which include love, peace and sacrifice, to the development of the nation.

He also urged Nigerians to remain steadfast and law abiding as the Federal Government worked to evolve peaceful and virile nation.

“While wishing Nigerians a happy celebration, we also urge them to support the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in his determination to build a peaceful, united and virile nation,’’ he added.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that it is the norm in Islam for Muslims to look out for the new moon of Shawwal at the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.

He, therefore, urged Muslims to look out for the new moon to determine the actual day for Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
If the new moon is sighted on Thursday, Muslims in the country will join their colleagues across the world to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr on Friday.

However, if the new moon is not sighted on Thursday, Muslims will have to fast on Friday and the Eid will be celebrated on Saturday.

According To ThisDay:-Nigerian Students In UK To Be Banned From Working, Forced To Leave

Foreign students, of which Nigeria accounts for a huge chunk of those coming from Africa, are to be banned from working in Britain under a fresh crackdown on immigration ordered by Home Secretary Theresa May. When their courses finish, they will have to leave the country before reapplying to return for a job.

Ministers say the new rules, which will apply to all those from outside the European Union, will stop colleges being used as a “back door to a British work visa”.

Official figures show that 121,000 non-EU students entered the UK in the 12 months to June last year, but only 51,000 left – a net influx of 70,000.

The government also estimates that the number of foreign students coming to the UK will rise by more than 6 per cent a year up to 2020. Home Secretary Theresa May has taken action against 870 bogus colleges, banning them from taking foreign students.

They want to stop student visas being used as an easy way to enter the UK before getting a job and claiming benefits. Under the new rules, non-EU students will be denied the right to work while in the UK and will not be able to apply for a visa extension when their course finishes.

Students will have to leave the country before applying to return under a work visa.

The length of stay is also expected to be cut to two years when the plans are unveiled this week.

But universities have warned that any clampdown could damage the sector and business leaders are also wary of the move, warning it could rob Britain of vital skills.

DailyMailUk reported that Seamus Nevin, head of employment and skills at the Institute of Directors, said: “The Home Secretary’s proposals to eject foreign students after graduation are misguided and would damage the British education system, our economy and global influence.

“Britain already makes it difficult and artificially expensive for international students to enter and stay, and now these proposals would eject them ignominiously when their studies are finished.

“Restricting talented workers from staying on in the UK would damage business and lead to a loss of important skills. Shutting the door to highly-trained international graduates at a time when our economy needs them most would be hugely damaging for UK businesses.
“In the interest of our education sector, our businesses, and our international standing, the Home Secretary should reconsider this proposal.”
