Rapper Meek Mill puts car company on blast, says they sold him $200k Lambo with a 'fake' title

Rapper Meek Mill took to his instagram page to blast a car company in Florida called EuroSports claiming they sold him a Lamborghini (pictured right) and hid the fact that the car had a salvage title until after he'd paid for it. For those who don't know what a car with a 'Salvage' title means, it means a car that's been in wreck - in Nigeria we call it 'accident' cars. It's supposed to be worth less than cars with 'clean' titles but they sold it to him like it was clean.

Governorship Polls: Jonathan Warns Against Intimidation Of Nigerians

President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday condemned what he described as attempt by politicians and individuals to intimidate Nigerians, instigate public disorder and disaffection within some days to the governorship and state assembly polls.

Although he did not mention any particular person, the president’s warning is coming barely two days after it was reported that the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu had threatened that the Igbo people in Lagos State would all drown inside the lagoon should they fail to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode in next Saturday’s governorship election.

Jonathan who spoke through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati warned that the federal government won’t “condone any attempt to instigate a crisis in any part of the country in furtherance of personal political ambitions.

“As the nation prepares for Saturday’s governorship and State Assembly elections, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan calls on all Nigerians to remain peaceful, united and law-abiding”, Abati noted at a press briefing.

Abati said Jonathan also condemned “the undue harassment of public officials serving under his administration”, adding that the president urged all affected persons to continue to perform their lawful duties without fear.

The president, according to his spokesman, assured all Nigerians that his administration remained fully committed to national progress and the entrenchment of the best values of democracy for the good of all Nigerians.

Abati stated: “The President condemns the very unseemly attempt by some politicians, groups and individuals to intimidate others, heat up the polity and cause public disorder and disaffection in the aftermath of the Presidential and National Assembly elections.

“President Jonathan is especially concerned about the negative triumphalism that has been put on display by certain elements since March 31 which flies in the face of his personal commitment to post-election peace, unity and national stability.

“The President calls on all those, who through their actions and utterances, have been promoting divisiveness, sectionalism and ethnic hatred in the country following the outcome of the March 28 elections to cease and desist from actions that detract from the true spirit and culture of democracy envisioned by patriotic men and women of goodwill in Nigeria.”

On the harassment of public officials, he said, “President Jonathan also condemns the undue harassment of public officials serving under his administration and urges all affected persons to continue to perform their lawful duties without fear.

“The President cautions that this should be a time for the healing of political wounds in the overriding interest of national unity, stability and progress, not a time for ethnic jingoism and the settling of scores.

“He urges Nigerians to go out en-masse once again on April 11 to vote for candidates of their choice in the Governorship and State Assembly elections with the confidence that his administration will do all within its powers to ensure that they do so in peace, without threats, intimidation or violence from any quarters.”

Women And The Lies Of 25 Years Of Age

Let's go.....

I've been pondering over what could be the possible cause of this trend for the past two years and I came to this conclusion that 98% of ladies that have attained an advanced marriageable age you come across with the intent to date or have a relationship with is usually 25 years of age. grin

What could be responsible for this level of deceit ? I'm old enough to know the age range of someone I'm talking with, but to my utter dismay these ladies blatantly lie to my face and when you get to find out about their real age ,they simply smile over it and behave as if nothing happened.Funny though I've seen this same trend across three different major cities of Nigeria and I am not finding it funny anymore. angry

I want our beautiful ladies in the house to help us with answers here, because it's beginning to look like every mature girl you come across would always lie about their real age.

And please guys too with similar experience should help.

Boko Haram Members Disguise As Preachers, Kill 24 In Borno

Suspected members of the Boko Haram sect have attacked Kwajafa village in Borno State killing 24 persons and injuring over a dozen others, a security source has revealed.

They also set the village mosque on fire.

The source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the insurgents stormed the village on Sunday evening.

He said, “The insurgents who rode to the town in Volkswagen Golf cars on Sunday evening, told the villagers that they were there to preach. They however opened fire on the people as soon as they gathered an appreciable number of the villagers in the village square.”

He lamented that some of the residents who were in a mosque at the time of the attack were not spared as the insurgents set them ablaze.

He said mostly killed were those who could not immediately decipher that the disguised preachers were Boko Haram members on a deadly mission.

A nurse at the General Hospital, Biu, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said some injured persons were brought to the hospital from Kwajafa, some 35 kilometres away for treatment.

The medical worker added that some of the injured persons were treated in other health facilities in Kwajafa.

It will be recalled that Kwajafa, which is about 220 kilometres from Maiduguri, has witnessed two major Boko Haram attacks in the past.

Investigations revealed that past attacks forced people to flee the village but some of them returned after peace returned to the community.

Meanwhile, the Borno State Accountant-General, Hajiya Mairo Bunu, on Monday appealed to donor agencies to mobilise support for the rehabilitation of victims of Boko Haram insurgency in the state.

Bunu made the appeal when she presented some relief materials to Governor Kashim Shettima for the victims.

She said the Boko Haram insurgency had resulted in mass destruction of infrastructure which might be difficult to rebuild without the support of the international community.

18-Year-Old Caught Having Sex With Mad Woman In Lagos

One of the key crucial evidence is to take the woman, identified simply as Iya Rasheedi, to Mirabel Centre at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital to ascertain penile penetration

Detectives attached to the Oke-Odo Police Station, Ile-Epo, Abule-Egba area of Lagos State have started quizzing an 18-year-old man caught pants down having sex with a mad woman on the road.

The suspect, Chimaobi Peter, said he had not yet penetrated before the screams of the woman alerted people.

But the woman’s family members said Peter had already penetrated.

They also alleged that he decided to have sex with their aunt for ritual purposes.

One of them said: “When he was dragged off her, she couldn’t get up for more than three/four hours.

“She was extremely weak.

“There’s no doubt that he used something on her.”

Although police are itching to prosecute Peter, but the detectives need all the evidence they could get.

One of the key crucial evidence is to take the woman, identified simply as Iya Rasheedi, to Mirabel Centre at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital to ascertain penile penetration.

The trouble however was that Iya Rasheedi refused to be cajoled or coaxed into going to Mirabel Centre.

Some of her relatives said the investigators should give them time to get one of her five kids, who are all married and live in different in areas of Lagos, come speak to her.

“Once she sees any of them, she would follow them to the hospital,” said one of her relatives.

If the test is not carried out, Peter will go scot free.

Denying vehemently that he penetrated, Peter blamed his action on being drunk and on a supposed curse that had been following him from his village.

Narrating his story, the suspect said he was drunk and was walking along the street when he saw the mad woman.

She was stark Unclad.

He said that he felt his manhood roar to life and quickly removed his trouser.

As he pounced on her, she started screaming and struggling.

Some local vigilante men heard her screams and rushed to the scene.

They rescued her from Peter.

Witnesses said Peter penetrated the woman, but he had consistently denied it.

He however said: “If not for the security men, maybe I would have had sex with her, notwithstanding that she was screaming and struggling.

“I don’t know what came over me.

“Please forgive me!

“I had a lot of things on my mind.

“My problems are bigger than me.

“I have nobody to help me.”

When police grabbed him, packets of Indian hemp were recovered from his pocket.

He said: “My spirit is willing to serve God, but my flesh is always deceiving me.

“I saw the woman Unclad at Oke-Odo Pipeline.

“I was even planning to go and sleep at Super when I saw her.

“I removed my trouser and tried to force her to have sex with me.

“She started shouting.”

Asked the sort of curse following him, Peter said whenever he succeeds and makes money, it would disappear.

“He also said that his parents died, nobody wants to take care of him because “anybody that takes care of me, will suddenly die!

“I’ve been told to carry out sacrifice and libation on my grandfather and father’s grave.”

An angry relative of Iya Rasheedi said: “The woman has five grown kids.

“She has been mad for over 27 years.

“The madness used to come and go.

“Once it goes, she would cover her body and once it comes upon her, she leaves home and starts wandering.

“This her condition was what killed her elder brother.

“He was going everywhere, seeking solution for her problem until he died.

“Her husband disappeared and abandoned her after she went mad.”

Investigators said Peter is looking at life imprisonment if found guilty since a mentally unstable woman cannot give consent for sexual intercourse.

Four Abia Governorship Gandidates Join PDP, Declare Support For Ikpeazu

Four governorship candidates in Abia State yesterday defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and declared support for the party’s governorship candidate, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu.

The four governorship candidates include, Mrs Ifeoma Okpara, Citizens Popular Party,(CPP) Prince Sunday Isaac, People for Democratic Change, (PDC), Barrister Dan Onyeonagu, KOWA Party, and Independent Democrat (ID), Gilbert Chikezie.

According to them, their decision to adopt Dr. Ikpeazu as their choice in the April 11 governorship poll was borne out of the interest of the state.

“Having considered the political situation in the state, we thought it wise to step down as governorship candidates and adopt the PDP flagbearer, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu as our candidate,” Onyeonagu of KOWA said.

“This collective decision is to ensure Abia remains in safe hands. We do not want our dear state to fall into the hands of those who do not mean well for the state; those who think that Abia is for sale,”.

The decisions of the four governorship candidates, according to Onyeonagu, were based on the fact that the positive transformation of the state shall be sustained.

“We believe that Aba, as the commercial hub of our state, shall be fully developed to serve as a spring board to all parts of the state and that women, youths and people with disabilities will enjoy democracy dividends under Ikpeazu.

“We believe that under him, Abia shall be economically empowered, greater efforts would be invested in agriculture, more rural areas shall be linked to major cities, more jobs for Abians, more investment in security of lives and property and may more.”

Earlier, in his remarks, the National Chairman and Presidential Candidate of Citizens Popular Party, who stood in for the State governorship candidate, Chief Sam Eke said “The way things are going in Abia State can only get better. We must not allow the ongoing delevelopment nose dive hence our conclusion to throw our weigh behind Abia PDP candidate, Dr. Ikpeazu.”

Responding on behalf of the Abia State PDP Campaign Organization, Mr. Longman Nwachukwu, thanked the four governorship candidates for embracing the PDP.

He assured them that they will be fully accomodated in the PDP.

Oba Akiolu Is Not A Politician, Not APC Spokesman - Tinubu

A former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has said the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, is not a member of the All Progressives Congress and cannot speak on behalf of the party.

Tinubu said this at a rally in Iganmu, Lagos, while reacting to the controversial comments of the monarch on Tuesday.

The APC National Leader, who noted that he was the first Yoruba governor to ever appoint an Igbo commissioner, said the Peoples Democratic Party, having failed to win last week’s presidential elections, were desperately trying to pull the APC into the Akiolu controversy.

He said the Coordinator of the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, Ifeanyi Ubah, and the PDP leader, Bode George, were only making baseless accusations against the APC.

Tinubu said, “The oba is not a politician. His job is to accommodate all political parties, whether PDP, APC or SDP. So, what did he (Ubah) go and do at the palace?

“To you Igbos, don’t we pay your children’s school fees like others? Or is it the palace that pays for it? When we conducted an exam and a spelling competition, an Igbo boy, Ebuka, from Anambra, came first and he became the governor for one day.

“Those that won the competition three times in a row were Igbo. Ebuka was sent to Switzerland computer school and then Obafemi Awolowo University. We did not say he was an Igbo boy and he would not enjoy. He became an executive in Oando and he is now in Canada.

“Another boy, Felix, won and went to Switzerland and OAU. We paid his scholarship; we did not deny him because he is Igbo.”

In a separate statement, the Lagos State APC Publicity Secretary, Joe Igbokwe, said the monarch spoke out of anger.

He urged his kinsmen not to take out their anger on the APC governorship candidate, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, who knew nothing about the incident.

The statement read, “Oba Rilwan Akiolu of Lagos is not a card-carrying member of APC. He is not a leader in the APC. He does not speak for the APC. He did not speak for Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos state.

“He did not speak for our national leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He did not speak for the incoming governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode. His Royal Highness is at liberty to speak for himself and he spoke for himself only.

“Lagos APC appeals to Ndigbo not to take the statement as the position of the party in Lagos. We passionately appeal to Ndigbo not to carry the statement credited to Oba Akiolu too far so as not to put a knife on things that have held us together for more than 50 years now.

“If out of annoyance, you throw your cap away, a mad man will take it and use it forever.”

How A Corper Was Almost Lynched Today In Ado Ekiti For Taking Pics During Protest

I'm still in shock over what happened to me today.

I'm a youth corper serving in Ado Ekiti. On my way to the office Ado Ekiti this morning, I observed that the Fajuyi park area of the town was blocked by security operatives and motorcycles were not being allowed to ride through. I was puzzled as to what was going on, as I just got back to the state from my hometown d night before. Anyway I proceeded to my office. About two hours later, I heard some singing and noise from outside. As l was kind of bored, I decided to go and observe. On getting to the outside of my office complex, I saw a large crowd of people singing and walking on the main road. I realised they were protesting. But since there were no sign of violence, I presumed, albeit wrongly, that it was a peaceful protest. Therefore, and in order to test the picture quality of the phone I just bought, I decided to take pictures. That was a very grave mistake, I now realise. Immediately, a man saw me taking the pictures, he descended on me. The crowd followed suit and before I could mention Jesus, I started receiving blows and slaps from everywhere. The shirt and inner shirt I was wearing was torn out of my body. After the security men managed to restrain d crowd, I was told to delete d pictures, which I did. The crowd was not still satisfied and insisted that I give my phone to them, so they could smash it. I refused. Another round of beating then commenced, this time more viciously. I was pushed to the ground and they were all raining blows and slaps on my body. I managed to extricate myself from the melee and ran for my dear life. Some tried chasing me, but I was quicker. I then went to hide in a part of d complex. After about 5 minutes, a vicious looking guy came to meet me where I was hiding and said I should give him my phone, else he finishes me off there and then. He said he has been instructed by the powers that be to either smash my phone or finish me off. Or in the alternative, he will take me to d crowd waiting fr me outside so they can deal with me in their own way. I started begging him and told him I was just a youth corper and I was neither a politician or from Ado Ekiti. After showing him my NYSC I.d. card and giving him the last 500 naira in my wallet, which he requested for, as bribe, he let me go and instructed me to go and hide as best as I could. I was later transported outside the premises by a good Samaritan, before I found my way home.

Though I'm an ardent follower of political happenings in the country, I have never been a fanatic, and I never expected this type of behaviour from rational human beings. Mehn, these guys where filled with anger, and they could kill without hesitation. Politics should not be a do or die affair. It is high time we jettison this culture of barbarism and embrace peace and dialogue. Anyway, I'm thankful to God, that it didn't get worse than it did. Though I'm feeling pains all over my body, I'll survive and at least I still have my phone.

The Oba Of Lagos Does Not Speak For Our Party - APC

The APC has finally spoken up against the anti-igbo statement made by the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu.. The party condemned the Oba's statement through their official Twitter handle... Peep their tweets below

The problem about this medium of condemnation is that, there is no face to it and as such, people might still not accept this... Let either Mr. Ambode, Gov. Fashola or an APC chieftain condemn the act..... My opinion

Don Jazzy replies fan who called him out for not condemning Oba of Lagos comment

Come to think of it, not that many Nigerian celebrities publicly condemned Oba of Lagos anti-Igbo comments. When a fan called Don Jazzy out for not condemning it because of his supposed alliance with Governor Fashola, the maverick music producer took to instagram to rationally reply and clarify himself. See what he wrote after the cut...

Spend 12years In Jail For Adultery Or Marry Your Rapist

chei !!! women have suffered !!!!... So, this is the despicable thing that happened to an afghan woman four years ago, who was raped by her cousin's husband, but the government, in a really sad turn of event, decided to find her guilty of ADULTERY... Then came the shocker - She was made to choose between a 12year jail term or marry the monster that defiled her..... How despecable !!!!!!!

You may ask why resurrect the story.... Well, i just saw a CNN report that she is now expecting a third child from the same man.. And worst still, she claims her family has abandoned her... smh

I am so glad that women in this part of the world, though still victimized in some areas, are not made to go through this kind of unthinkable physical and emotional trauma. Can you ever imagine being given this kind of senseless ultimatum, simply because you're a woman?

Pics: Arsonists set Baptist Church ablaze, Pastor's daughter killed

Barely one week after an attack on a branch of Living Faith Church popularly called Winners Chapel in Giwa, Headquarters of Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State by two unidentified arsonists, the Baptist Church at Gidan Maso village in Rogo Local Government Area of Kano State has been set ablaze and the residence of the Pastor, Rev Habila Garba, burnt by irate youths.

During the incident which happened on April 1 at about 7:30 pm, one of the Pastor's daughters died of suffocation and most parts of the house destroyed as a result of the fire.

The President of "Tarayyar Masihiyawan Nijeria" (Hausa, Fulani and Kanuri Christians), General Ishaku Ahmed Dikko (retd), told journalists on Tuesday in Abuja that the intention was to kill one youth, Yahaya Joshua, who converted to Islam but later on reverted back to Christianity.

Full statement of General Dikko entitled: "Another church torched Again"...

The Baptist Church at GIDAN MASO village of Rogo LGA in Kano State was set on fire by youths of the Village on 01 April, 2015 at about 7:30 pm. The Church and all the properties were burnt down in the presence of the Christian Community despite all pleadings for them to stop the destruction. The arsonists gathered cornstalks and put inside the Church in order to cause greater damage. This made the action to seem deliberate and for ulterior motives.

The Christians present exhibited great Christian qualities by not taking the law into their hands by trying to stop them by force. Rather than the arsonist to see reason, they were infuriated which led to setting the house of the Pastor, Rev Habila Garba, ablaze as well. As a result of the fire, one of the Pastor’s daughters died of suffocation and most of the house destroyed.

They also attacked and wounded Bawa Adamu and Aminu Dauda, who received machete cuts leading to broken arms. Others received similar wounds but of lesser degrees.

The cause of the barbaric act was to kill one youth, Yahaya Joshua, who converted to Islam but later on reverted back to Christianity. The youth had escaped on learning of the plan to kill him. They therefore set the Church and Pastor’s house on fire and went about maiming and wounding any Christian they saw. The incidence was immediately reported to the Police and the District Head at Rogo. At the time of filing this report on 3rd April, 2015, no information was received about the action taken or if any arrests were made. However, all the wounded know and can identify their attackers by name since they all belong to the same village.

The Tarayyar Masihiyawan Nigeriya is calling on the authorities to take the necessary steps to stem or stop all these harassments and molestations of innocent Christians for whatever reasons. We have the right to belong to any religion of our choice and live anywhere in this country. We call on the authorities at all levels to rise up to their responsibilities to protect lives and properties of every citizen in this country.

'I Do Not Regret Carrying Drugs' — Arrested Drug Carrier

A 37 year-old man, who was arrested alongside a mother of three and four others with 16.51kg narcotics at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, has said he had no regrets over his action, blaming his indulgence on frustration.

Gladys Omari.

The suspect, Okoye Kelvin, was allegedly on the verge of smuggling 10.27kg cannabis to Doha, capital of Qatar, when he was arrested by officials of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.

He reportedly showed no sign of remorse, saying he opted to take a risk since life itself was a risk.

According to Kelvin: “I was frustrated. When you are frustrated, you can do anything. I took a risk, but I was not lucky. Life is about taking risk.

“It is either you win or you lose. I have worked and suffered as a casual labourer in Doha for two years and I was desperate to change my status.”

On her part, the mother of three, Gladys Omari, who claimed to have left Spain where she lived, owing to financial hardship, was reportedly arrested with 1.670kg of cocaine, which she intended to export to Madrid, Spain.

Gladys Omari

I left my 3 children with a friend—SUSPECT

During interrogation Omari said: “I buy and sell clothes. I lived in Spain for about a decade. I came back to Nigeria because of financial hardship.

“I love to go back to Spain but I do not have enough money. This was how I found myself in drug trafficking. The most painful aspect of my arrest is that I told my friend to look after my children for a few days.

“By my calculation, I thought I could quickly smuggle the drugs to Spain and return within one week. I felt so bad when the drug was detected at the airport.”

Drug In Body Cream

Explaining how the arrest was made, the NDLEA Commander, Lagos Airport, Mr. Hamza Umar, said one of the suspects was found with liquid cocaine in body cream, while another excreted wraps of cocaine on board the aircraft.

He said: “The suspects include Nwodo Anthony, who was found with 3.260kg liquid cocaine concealed in body cream from Brazil; Ikebalum Ogochukwu , who excreted 36 wraps of cocaine weighing 570 grammes on board the aircraft.

“Madu Okey was caught with 975 grammes of methamphetamine, while going to Tanzania. Attempt by Nnadobe Anthony to smuggle 335 grammes of methamphetamine to South Africa also failed.

“Okoye Kelvin was found smuggling 10.27kg of cannabis to Doha, while the only female suspect, Nwaokolo Gladys Omari, was caught exporting 1.670kg of cocaine to Madrid.”

I Was Promised N1million

Ogochukwu, who excreted wraps of drugs, said: “Life has been unfair to me. First, I lost my father at the age of five and I have been responsible for my upkeep since.

“Last year, I struggled to travel to Brazil with the hope that I would get a good job. I later met a Brazilian who decided to assist me.

“He gave me cocaine and paid for my ticket to Nigeria. He promised to pay me a million naira to start any business of my choice.”
