Ex Oyo Governor's Daughter, Kemi Omololu's Twitter Rants Cause Online Outrage

The early-morning Twitter rants by Kemi(tweeting from @HNNAfrica), one of the children of former Oyo state governor, Dr. Victor Omololu-Olunloyo, were greeted with mixed reactions by Nigerians on the microblogging platform. Kemi had taken on her 79-year-old father in a series of tweets. She further disclosed that a documentary, DaddyDearest, will be released when he turns 80 in April 2015. According to one of her tweets, “On his birthday, we would remind the world of his threats like the one he made yesterday. #OmololuOlunloyo80.”

Below are some reactions by some Nigerians on Twitter:

@kunleadefioye: Kemi has been trading and cashing in on the Victor Omololu Olunloyo name all her life. The irony…

@KwamiAdadevoh: May God enable us to bring up balanced and well adjusted children.I know the family. The man was a terror but she’s lying

@CheRox: Kemi Olunloyo needs to be sedated and treated first. She’s been unraveling for far too long, the internet has only amplified it

@Olu_Kenzo: Like I said I think Kemi Olunloyo already saw his father’s Will and she is not favoured…..No other reason for this kind of Madness!

Notorious hacktivist group Anonymous targets Kanye West

Yesterday March 11th, Notorious hacktivist group Anonymous dropped a video announcing Kanye West was their latest crusade. The group detailed the rappers 'sins' and why they are targeting him. Below is the description from the video...

A direct message to our brother, Mr. West, to teach him a lesson on humility, and responsibility, over his out of control, hypocritical, and impulsive actions. Anonymous is sounding off the new Renaissance era this year for humanity, and "we aint finna play with them nooo more! Because at this point, we're tired of it!" And you need to respect real artistry and allow other artists other than Beyonce to be celebrated for their achievements. "Because, what happens is, when you keep diminishing art, and not respecting the craft, and smacking other artists in the face, you're disrespectful to inspiration." You owe Beck, Taylor Swift, your fans, and the many people you've hurt and disappointed over the years an apology, Mr. West. Our tolerance with your arrogant and distasteful behavior to gain attention online has reached its end. We will be watching you.

They ended the video with this ominous warning below;

“It’s time to awaken from your insanity Mr. West. In reality you’re not a Renaissance man, you just are a new slave that the industry uses to keep the population in a cycle of stupidity and distraction.”

See the video they released below...

God has shown us who will be president and it is not Jonathan - Gov Amaechi

Speaking at the APC South South Rally in Port Harcourt today, Gov Rotimi Amaechi said God has shown them who the president would be come March 28th and it is not Goodluck Jonathan

"God has shown us who would be president and we know that it is not Jonathan. Do you remember the Jonathan in the bible? What did he do? He betrayed his father, right? This time around, we need a man that would deliver the country for both Christians and Muslims. There will be no Christian or Muslim but a Nigerian government.” he said

IBB, Abdulsalami Reconcile Gov. Aliyu Of Niger State With Deputy Gov.

In view of the tension generated by the political difference between Niger state Governor Babangida Aliyu and his deputy, Hon Ahmed Musa Ibeto, former heads of state, Generals Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar have moved to reconcile the duo.

LEADERSHIP gathered yesterday in Minna that the former Nigerian leaders held a reconciliation meeting with the governor and his deputy at the residence of Abdulsalami last Thursday.

It was gathered that the meeting was at the instance of the generals who felt that their public display of their political difference was causing them embarrassment and tension in the state and decided to nip it in the bud before it degenerated to another level.

A source close to the meeting disclosed that Governor Aliyu and Hon Ibeto laid bare before the elder statesmen their differences and concerns since the deputy governor defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on January 19, 2015.

Whereas the governor was not happy about how the issues between them have gone to the public domain and alleged a media war against him, the deputy governor informed IBB and Abdulsalami about the alleged plan by the governor to impeach him.

After narrating their different sides, IBB and Abdulsalami, it was gathered, urged them to sheathe their swords, saying that if they could work together for over seven years, they should learn to tolerate each other for the few months remaining for their administration.

It was learnt that they told Aliyu not to deny the deputy governor his rights and privileges, while they were both told to try as much as possible to take their issues out of the public domain and live with their political differences.

134,000 Corps Members Trained For 2015 Elections - NYSC DG

Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier-General Johnson‎ Olawumi, Thursday disclosed that a total of 134,000 corps members has been selected and trained by the Independent National Electoral Commission for the March 28 and April 11 general elections.

Brigadier-General Olawumi who assured parents and guardians of their children and wards safety said the scheme would not compromise its efforts to ensuring safety of its corps members before, during and after the 2015 general elections.

Olawumi stated this in Benin at the opening ceremony of the NYSC management conference. The NYSC DG warned that the scheme would not tolerate any form of misconduct or bias on the part of the corps members during the polls.

He noted that the theme for the conference – Fulfilling the Mandate of the Scheme in the Face of Current Challenges, was apt as issues, such as insecurity, rejection of corps members in places of primary assignment, funding and inadequate infrastructure, posed critical challenges to the scheme.

He said, “The scheme is fully prepared for the national assignment, as all participating corps members‎ have been adequately trained to competently play their roles. We have equally put in place necessary security measures for their safety.

“It is hoped that this conference will brainstorm on some of these challenges and come up with strategies that will enhance our performance in the next one year.”

Governor Adams Oshiomhole who declared the conference open said March’s general election would be the toughest in the country since the last 16 years.

Oshiomhole urged the corp members not to be compromised by desperate politicians who do not want the votes to count.

He said, “This is the toughest election Nigeria will have in the last 16 years. We have a political class who if they have the opportunity they would bribe God. The corpers will require God help to resist these desperate politicians who don’t want the votes to count.

“The corpers must find sufficient encouragement in the fact that the issue at stake is not the future of those seeking power but actually the future of those who are not seeking power particularly the younger ones. Everyday that is mismanaged is opportunity lost. The corpers must understand that what is at stake is not meager money. It is much more than that.”

Shareholders Of Largest NSE Companies Lose N1120bn In 2 Months

Shareholders of four most capitalised companies in Nigeria’s stock market lost about N1.120 trillion between January and March 9, 2015. This stemmed from massive sell-off that have pervaded the local bourse due to preparations for the general elections and the declining oil prices at the global markets. Oil, which accounts for about 90 per cent of Nigeria’s foreign exchange earnings and 80 per cent of revenue, have fallen by 50 per cent since June, last year, inflicting a huge blow on the naira that has been devalued twice in the last four months.

The currency initially exchanged at N168 per dollar at the official market last November, but currently trades at N197 per dollar. Oil, which also traded at about $110 dollars per barrel in June, now trades at below $60, indicating a sharp decrease in the country’s foreign exchange inflows.

The declining value of naira and the postponement of the elections had scared away foreign investors and sparked a flight to safety. Meanwhile, the market capitalisation of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), which measures the value of stocks listed on the local bourse, stood at N10.410 trillion at the close of trading on Monday as against the opening figure of N11.477 trillion at the beginning of trading in January 2015.

The stocks that lost significant values are Dangote Cement Plc, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Nestle Nigeria Plc and Guaranty Trust Bank Plc. Checks by New Telegraph showed that Dangote Cement, which controls about 28 per cent of overall market capitalisation led the top four league with a loss of N801 billion or 30.72 per cent to close at N2.607 trillion on at the time of filing this report on Monday, March 09, 2015.

This is against N3.408 trillion opening figure in January. Nestle Nigeria trailed with a drop of N151 billion or 23.4 per cent to close from N801.9 billion to N649.9 billion, while Nigerian Breweries, which also ranked number two in market capitalisation followed with a decline of N147 billion or 13.3 per cent to close at N1.103 trillion from N1.250 trillion. Guaranty Trust Bank Plc depreciated by N109.7 billion or 2.73 per cent, from N741 billion to N721.4 billion.

The low sentiment in the market has been on the increase following upset in the financial market arising from insecurities, build up to 2015 elections and drop in oil price, among others. Financial analysts believed that some of these factors sent a shock wave to both local and foreign investors and created uncertainty in the investment environment, which led to retreat on the part of the bargain hunters and depletion in foreign portfolio investment in the country. The chief executive officer, Financial Derivatives Company, Mr Bismarck Rewane, had recently said that preparations for the elections and the declining oil prices were likely factors for the rise in the FPI outflow.

Wow! How The Heck Did This Happen? (Photos)

This bizarre story took place at the turn of the 20th century. A prisoner by the name of Will West arrived at the United States Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas in 1903. After seeing his mug shots, the prison clerk took one look at the photos and insisted she had seen him before. Mr. West explained he had never been to Leavenworth, and that she was mistaken.

The clerk, convinced that she was correct, collected Mr. West’s Bertillon measurements (the identification method used to identify prisoners up until this case) and dug through the archives of inmates. Eerily, she pulled out a file that undoubtedly was the face of the man standing in front of

her.

However, he was telling the truth. Mr. West had never been to Leavenworth, and was naturally perturbed. How had his photo ended up in the files of the penitentiary? As it turned out, there was another inmate with the exact measurements as Mr. West who was already there serving a life sentence. If that wasn’t strange enough, his doppelgänger was also named William West.

The two men were not related in any way, and law enforcement quickly realized that a more reliable method of identification was necessary. The case of Will and William West changed the face of forensics. Fingerprinting soon became the standard method for identifying criminals.

Because of these two men, you never have to worry about going to prison simply for sharing the same face and physical characteristics of another known criminal. Luckily for us all, our unique fingerprints will never allow for another case of mistaken identity.

He Helped Her Escape Rape, She Paid Him Back By Stealing

Hey folks,

I was in uyo yesterday for an event, So we chilled in a popular hotel.

At about 2am, I started hearing loud shout on the next room. The noise lingered to a point that we were beginning to ask questions, if the hotel and clients were aware of the noise.

Suddenly, I heard a loud bang on my door, I opened and a dark skinned tall lady ran in and was screaming they are raping my friend" please help.

So I stepped into the next room and saw two men striping a girl to her panties. I talked to them mildly to stop, the other man screamed back, I have been spending my money on this pig, today is pay day. He oozed of alcohol.

After a little plea, he stopped dragging and the lady ran half Unclad into my room. She thanked me and told me that they were students of unical, and that she needed money for her birthday. That's why she got involved in this act.

I allowed them to stay since it was just 2 hours till morning. Though I was conscious. At about 6 am my boss summoned me, I hurriedly rushed to his room.

I spent less than 10 mins, believe this, before I returned. These girls had made way with my iPhone, wallet, my gold necklace. I felt really horrible. And to be fair my heart grew heavy with regrets.

My help has now turned to be a curse on me,

I leave them with their conscience, that is they have any.

Be careful folks, be careful.

Wife Divorces Hubby For Impregnating Lunatic in Lagos

For reportedly impregnating a mentally sick woman, a housewife, Mrs Titi Kareem, has dumped her husband, Mr Rafiu Kareem.

However, it was learnt that the mentally sick woman later died due to pregnancy-related complications in Lagos State.

As a result of the public outcry over the act, the 13-year-old marriage has crashed as the wife who could not withstand the shame moved out of her matrimonial home at Igando Road, Ikotun, Lagos.

Mrs Kareem, according to Leadership, also filed a suit before a Customary Court sitting in Ejigbo area of the state, seeking for the dissolution of the marriage.

The mother of four kids said she could not cope with the behaviour of her husband because she no

longer loved him, urging the court to dissolve the marriage.

The embittered woman told the court that she got to know that her husband impregnated the mentally sick woman after the police arrested him over the death of the woman.

She said it was at that time Kareem opened up to her that he impregnated the deceased and she became ashamed and had to pack her property and leave.

She also told the court that apart from the shameful act of impregnating an insane woman , her hubby had been exhibiting strange behaviour towards her and their children and did not take care of them.

Mrs Kareem added he did not respect her as his wife because he slept with other women despite the fact that she played her role as his wife and took care of him.

APC Blasts Fayose For Tagging Buhari A Liar

The All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State has condemned Governor Ayodele Fayose for tagging its Presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), a liar.

The party was reacting to media reports where Fayose castigated Buhari ‎as not competent to contest election.

The State Publicity Secretary of the party, Taiwo Olatubosun, said the governor’s action gave him away as an “unconscionable character who ought to hide his head in shame over his sundry activities that marked him out as a tragedy on the question of integrity.”

According to him, Fayose is not competent to question any Nigerian over issues relating to integrity.

“Buhari told Nigerians about his educational qualification and reasons for visiting London. Except Fayose who said he saw Buhari in a London hospital, other people‎ saw him at a private home and Chatham House where he delivered a public lecture.

“Lying is a question of integrity.‎ A liar does not have integrity. Lying leads to deceit, stealing, conspiracy, murder and other vices. While Buhari has never and would never be associated with any of these vices in both private and public life, same cannot be said of Fayose who goes about with chains of alleged criminalities tied around his neck.

“It is amusing that a man once convicted of lying at the Ekiti State High Court would be the one accusing the innocent of lying.

“The latest in his lies is the denial of his involvement in the criminal conspiracy with his ilks in the Ekiti poll fraud as his voice was heard on how he collected INEC soft copies he printed to fraudulently win June 21, 2014 governorship election.”

Describing Fayose as a rare breed in brigandage with no sense of shame, the APC spokesman said the governor had baggage of alleged crimes on his neck from which he had not exonerated ‎himself.

He advised Fayose to start thinking of how to plan a life after paying for his alleged crimes, noting that Buhari’s presidency was a reality that could not be stopped by Fayose’s frustrating tantrums.

Everything’s Not Alright With Nigeria – Northern Traditional Rulers.

All is not well with Nigeria, the Chairman, Northern Traditional Rulers Council and Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, said yesterday, even as he warned politicians to stop sponsoring campaigns of calumny.

The Sultan, who made this position known during a meeting of the council in Kaduna, said as traditional leaders, truth must be told to political leaders, as they (traditional rulers) know what the people want, being the closest to them.

He said as humans beings, politicians should respect one another and not always see elections as do-or-die affair.

“We must tell the political leaders the truth and we cannot sit down and let things go on and say everything is all right.

I am telling you, everything is not all right with this country, it is left for us to help our leaders find the right note to sing and play so that the North will move forward, Nigeria will move forward and become stronger and we must speak about the issues bedevilling our country, we cannot keep quiet, too much corruption, too much impunity, too much killing, what is happening in the North-east is most unfortunate”, he said.

The sultan also tasked traditional rulers and politicians on the need to always put the interest of the nation above their personal interests.

“The people believe much more in us, the traditional rulers than they do political leaders, we must avoid what happened in 2011 in this 2015 elections because, I know, we were wrongly accused of siding with a particular political party, I said ‘WRONG’ in capital letters, but when you do something wrong, 1000 angels shouting that you are right make a difference, that’s very important, please take note.

“We must avoid doing wrong things and I believe we must always do right, we must always look back to our forefathers standing, what they did in their lives and we must replicate same because all of us are from different cultural, traditional and religious backgrounds, but we are all one people, one great untied people, therefore, there is no difference between all of us, let’s work towards uniting ourselves the more because our unity is most important”.

"I Do Dog Style To Keep My Husband" - Popular Yoruba Actress (Pic)

A few weeks back, a UK-based Nigerian Pastor Olugbenga Oladejo warned married couples against unholy sexual acts and immoral positions like spice it up, doggie style, cowboy or cowgirl.

He said the only position that is holy in God’s sight is the face-to-face position with the husband on top.

Well, in an exclusive and revealing interview with YNaija, popular Yoruba movie star, Mide Funmi-Martins Owo, who has been happily married for 12 years now, says one of the secrets to her happy home is their spicy sex life.

She said: “One style what? If it is only one style that I have been doing with my husband, I would have lost him to all these skinny girls out there. If any wife decides to stick the missionary style she will lose him to the girls out there who are ready to go the extra mile and do lots of crazy stuff of bed to make the man happy.”

Reacting to Pastor Oladejo’s warning, she said: “To him (Pastor Olugbenga Oladejo), it can be a sin to God but I don’t see as a sin. It is very normal and a natural thing.”

“Let’s face reality and let us not deceive ourselves, if you have a man and you are not able to do all these sex styles, you would lose him to all these girls out there who are ready to drive him mad with these sex styles that come out everyday, it is important for wives to spice up the sex life in their marriage. It is the key to sustaining a happy home and marriage please.”

“Me I do the doggie style, spice it up, everything. I do all the styles please. I will advise women not to let any body mislead them, women, please always have good sex with your husband so he won’t have any cause to go outside”

The Essence of Womanhood: - Must Read

I am a woman and I don’t want to be anything but a woman. I enjoy being a woman. The new woman today does not want to have power over a man,she wants to have power over herself. She wants to understand self actualization. She wants to give the best of herself.

But you know what they say-nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent. The new woman must have mentors and "mentees" but she must choose them carefully, lest she ends up like Naomi Campbell-who lost her husband to her "mentee". Every woman must look for a mentor or "mentee" that she can connect with, someone who wants you to be a better you. Avoid women who are likely to be potential threats.

There will be a time when you will be knocked down in life. And when that time comes, stay down.Don’t talk to anybody, not even your Pastor.Don’t run to Papa.Stay down,be angry, cry.Do whatever you need to do.Experience it yourself and get out of it yourself. Know that there is beauty in going through it all and like a phoenix;rise up from your ashes. There is nothing like a woman who has been knocked down and can rise all the time. If you haven’t fallen down-you can’t mentor anyone.

Every woman should do what gives her pleasure and satisfaction because when the going gets tough, and it will(at some point)-she will stay with what gives her satisfaction. She must deploy her will power because that is what defines whether she fails or succeeds.

Achievement is a little bit of talent and loads and loads of preparation. So learn all you can as you move along. Don’t be shy.Be your own PR person. Be indispensable on the job. Don’t take anger to the office.Keep your head and heart in different compartments.

Don’t marry swagger. Marry a man who’s looking in the same direction.

A woman must never give up her family for her job, because family is the most important part of her life. She must be as committed in her home as she is-to her job because when the chips are down…it is in the family and marriage, that she finds comfort.

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

Why Everyone Above 20 Years Should Start A Business

I got this from my mentor Onome Maureen.

I strongly believe everyone above the age of

20 should start a business, at least an Online

Business! Most people reading this at first

are at least a little curious (and sometimes

skeptical) about the idea of starting an

online business. But it’s not quite as

mysterious as it sounds. Firstly, what is an

online business?

An online business is simply a business

done with the “advantage” of the internet.

Nowadays, at least the last 5 years in Nigeria

you will find that businesses which used to

be purely offline, now have seen the light

about using the internet to make MORE

money.

I’m talking about companies like Coca cola,

Closeup, Guiness, Samsung, Nollywood,

Dangote, Events makers etc.

Nowadays, you can buy or pay for almost

anything online. From clothes, shoes, food,

electronics, phones, laptops, land, holidays,

school fees etc.

What do all these this tell you?

Any business can DOUBLE its profit using the

internet and starting a business because…

1. It’s very, very cheap for businesses to

reach hundreds of thousands & even

millions of customers on the internet.

2. It’s quite affordable to launch or start a

business using the internet than a brick &

mortar business.

3. It’s faster and easier to succeed and make

a 7 figure income with YOUR own business,

than it is working for someone else.

4. There are NOT enough jobs available that

pay a 6 figure income.

5. Majority of the jobs available are paying

peanuts.

I have many friends way back from my

university days who don’t make enough

money to save for an emergency. If ever

they get in a car accident or run into some

kind of financial crisis, their lives will be very

difficult.

My bosom friend’s younger sister graduated

from the university six years ago and up till

this moment is still having trouble entering

the crowded job market which is currently

downsizing. She feels stuck, like there’s no

place to go.

My husband and I know a couple that’s

adopting a child from Uganda (which can be

expensive), and they’re exploring ways of
