Mother Kills Baby After Giving Him Heroin Overdose so She Could Take Cocaine in Peace

A mother who is a drug addict gave her baby concentrated heroin to 'knock him out or make him sleep' so she could take crack cocaine 'in peace', a court has heard.

Kelly Emery, 34, was charged with manslaughter after her son Fenton Hogan died of a heroine overdose.

Emery denies giving the two-year-old the heroin substitute to make him sleep and is currently on trial at Nottingham Crown Court but the baby's grandmother Angela Emery, Kelly Emery's mother, told the court her daughter 'cared more about drugs than her children

When she was asked how her daughter funded her habit in the months before Fenton's death, Mrs Emery said: 'Selling herself, basically.

'She would phone [me] regularly for money - she would claim it was for gas, electricity or food.'

Mrs Emery said her daughter had been addicted to drugs since the age of 17.

She said it was clear from her daughter's home and her appearance that she was an addict.

Mrs Emery told the court the house was mess and her daughter was 'not bothered' about housework or ensuring the children had clean clothes.

A post-mortem examination revealed Fenton had ingested methadone at least twice before his death

Emery has pleaded guilty to causing Fenton's death by gross negligence but denies charges of manslaughter and cruelty.

Christopher Hotten QC, prosecuting, alleged Emery deliberately gave the toddler concentrated heroine in order to 'knock him out' so she could take crack cocaine in peace.

The trial continues.

How Can a Mother Be This Wicked?!!!!

Not actual girl

Please read the very sad tweets a Twitter user Mbamalu Amara just shared. Quite heartbreaking. You hear some child abuse stories and you can't help but wonder how a human being, a mother, a woman that has her own kids will have the mind to treat another woman's child like trash. Tweets continue after the cut.

Fashola Lists Jonathan's Sins Against Lagosians

Lagos state governor, Babatunde Fashola, is unimpressed with President Goodluck Jonathan on many levels, and the latest reason is over his recent visits to the state.

He spoke on Thursday, February 26, during the APC rally at Ifako/Ijaye local government area of the state.

We picked five quotes from his statement – here they are:

1. “They have said the President is coming to Lagos. He is welcome to come; Lagos is part of his constituency but we will not vote for him because when we needed him, he did not come to help us. When the international airport road was damaged and he promised to fix it, did you see him?”

2 “When Ebola hit Lagos, did he come? When Kuramo Beach was overflowing and it was going to wipe out the entire Goshen Beach Estate, did you see the President?

3 “When I took him to Ibeju-Lekki, where people were losing their lands, we flew in a helicopter to the place but after that, the President never returned. I wrote letters and appealed but no response.”

4 “We have been using your taxes to protect those communities. So, you have been on your own, with your own party and government. So, he can come 200 times but will you vote for him?”

5 “The only time the President works is a few weeks to elections. When there was security problem in Lagos, who was buying guns and patrol vehicles for the police? Was it not us?”

Drama As Tambuwal Joins "Federal Republic Of Nigeria Party"

A mild drama took place on the floor of the House of Representatives yesterday when Speaker Aminu Waziri Tambuwal raised the hands of three of his colleagues

who, like him, are contesting for governorship seats in their respective states

Tambuwal is the governorship candidate of the APC in Sokoto State. He raised the hands of the Deputy Speaker of the House, Emeka Ihedioha and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who are seeking for governorship on the platform of the PDP in Imo and Enugu states respectively.

The other lawmaker is Dakuku Peterside of APC, who is the party’s governorship candidate in Rivers State.

Dakuku first went to Tambuwal for a private discussion when suddenly the speaker called on Ihedioha and Ugwuanyi to be part of the meeting. When they arrived, Tambuwal stood up and raised their hands, as they all laughed jokingly and their other colleagues on the floor joined them.

Soon after that, six other Reps that are contesting the Senate tickets in their states went to meet Tambuwal for the same treatment and he raised their hands also. Expectedly, the laughter continued. Those concerned included Minority Whip Samson Osagie, John Enoh, Abubakar Momoh, Uche Ekwunife and others.

But minority leader Femi Gbajabiamila came up jokingly with a point of order, saying that they needed to know where Tambuwal belongs, having raised Ihedioha and Ugwuanyi’s (who are of the PDP) hands.

Tambuwal simply replied by saying that his official car’s number plate carries ‘Federal Republic of Nigeria’ and not the logo of any political party. The Speaker added that his party is ‘Federal Republic of Nigeria.’

LASU refunds N209million school fees to students

The Lagos state government has refunded N209m to students of the Lagos state University following the reversal of school fees by Lagos State University, LASU.

At a ceremony held at the Main auditorium of the Ojo campus of the school yesterday February 26th, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Fatai Olukoga who represented Gov. Fashola, said this was the first phase in the refund exercise. He said the second phase of refund which is about N89 million will take place soon.

12 students were presented with cheques ranging from N150,000 to N200,000 while the remaining money will be paid to the accounts provided by the other students.

The management of the school and the students had witnessed many months of protest following a hike in school fees until Governor Fashola intervened in September 2014 and ordered that the school fees be reversed.

Man Arrested For Selling Son For N300,000 (Pictured With The Son)

A middle-aged palm tree harvester, George Maduabuchi, from Owerrinta in the Isiala-Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State is in the police net for allegedly selling his 14-month-old son for N300,000.

The father of four was said to have connived with another suspect, Obinna Erondu, now at large, to perpetrate the act.

The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Joshak Habila, who paraded the suspect along with other suspected criminals on Thursday, said, “Luck ran out on Maduabuchi when the wife alerted the police on his questionable role when the baby fell ill and he took him out and did not return with him.”

But the suspect told our correspondent that he did not sell his son, but only took him to a herbalist when he took ill.

He said, “The herbalist gave me money and told me that he could not heal the baby. I therefore left the baby in the herbalist’s home.”

But his explanation was countered by his wife, Eberechi, who said he took their son, who had a cough to the said herbalist, but instead of returning with the baby, rather came back with bundles of money.

She said, “When I demanded explanations on the whereabouts of our son, he could not offer any convincing answer.”

The wife, who is also pregnant, said she raised the alarm, which attracted neighbours who helped to arrest the husband.

The neighbours subsequently alerted the police, who picked up the husband who later led the police to the herbalist’s house at Owerrinta where the boy was recovered .

Paraded also by the police was one Chizaram Amandu, 40, who allegedly murdered his kinsman over an argument over snails in the bush.

The suspect, according to police, went to hunt for snail at Ahiaba Okpuala Isiala Ngwa with the victim, Sampson Sunday.

The police added that quarrel ensued over sharing formula and the suspect allegedly stabbed Sunday to death with dagger.

But the suspect said it was an accident as the victim came out to confront him while hunting for snail behind his ( victim’s) house in the night .

According to him, he never knew the victim could die as a result of injuries he sustained.

The police also paraded one Gideon Ezenwoko, a suspected kidnap kingpin, who had been allegedly terrorising residents of the Obingwa council area, adding that he had been on the wanted list of police .

The CP said, “The suspect escaped from prison, where most members of his gang had been jailed.

“He will be arraigned as soon as investigations are over.”

Policeman Binds And Casts Away Evil Spirit From Suspect Before Arresting him (Photos)

A Christian police officer has offered a deliverance session to a 'drunk' and abusive man before arresting him.

Reports say the police were called after the drunk man 28-yr-old Rodrigo Betti, began hurling insults at passers-by.

The Christian officer eventually began to shout: 'Unleash his body, Jesus. Out in the name of Jesus.'

An onlooker Paulo Cortez, who captured the extraordinary incident on his camera phone, told local media: 'The drunk began speaking in a weird way, his voice was very low, and he looked very strange.

'I suddenly realised he was doing an exorcism on the man. It was incredible.'

As the man sank to his knees growling, Mendes continued holding his head and calling for the devil to get out.

Cortez said: 'At one point the man fell to the ground writhing and shouting. It really looked as if he was possessed. But the policeman was doing a great job.

'Someone behind me then said he was going to get a priest.'

A police spokesman who verified the authenticity of the report said: 'When the priest arrived the situation was under control and the man had been fully exorcised.

'The officer acted properly in the situation and did not abuse his authority. He believes in God and regularly goes to church.'

Betti was arrested and released the following day.

He reportedly thanked the police officer saying: 'I can't remember a thing about last night, I must have been possessed by something.'

Kid Rock slams Beyonce, says she doesn't have an iconic song

Rocker Kid Rock has a new album out and to create buzz, he decided to come for the biggest female artist in the world. During an interview with Rolling Stone, he said he doesn't understand why Beyonce is 'worshiped' when she doesn't even an evergreen song. He said;

"Beyoncé, to me, doesn’t have a fu*king ‘Purple Rain,’ but she’s the biggest thing on Earth. How can you be that big without at least one ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ or ‘Old Time Rock & Roll’? People are like, ‘Beyoncé’s hot. Got a nice fu*king a.ss.’ I’m like, ‘Cool, I like skinny white chicks with big t*ts.’ Doesn’t really fu*king do much for me.”

Ebonyi House of Assembly members serve Governor impeachment letter

Members of the Ebonyi state house of Assembly this morning served an impeachment notice on the state Governor, Martin Elechi over allegations of gross misconduct, financial impropriety as well as undermining the integrity of the House members. At their plenary session this morning, the acting leader of the House, Hon. Francis Nwifruru read the impeachment notification to his colleagues. More details later.

We Won’t Forgive Buhari – South West Leaders Endorse Jonathan

Ahead of the March 28 general elections, prominent Yoruba natives have endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan for another four years.

The president got the nods of the Yoruba people during a summit held in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State on Thursday.

The South-West indigenes at the summit tagged, “The national conference, 2015 elections and the Yoruba Nation,” held at the Premier Hotel, Ibadan, outrightly rejected the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (retd).

They claimed Buhari did so many damages to the zone during his tenure as head of state and that they were not ready to forgive him.

The summit which was organised by the Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, was graced by prominent Yoruba sons and daughters, which include: Chief Olu Falae, former Presidential candidate of the Alliance for Democracy/ All Peoples Party; Chief Reuben Fasoranti, Leader, Afenifere; General Adeyinka Adebayo (retd), leader of the Yoruba Council of Elders; Senator Femi Okurounmu; Otunba Kunle Olajide, former Secretary, YCE; Chief Shuaibu Oyedokun, PDP leader; Archbishop Ayo Ladigbolu; Otunba Gbenga Daniels, former Governor of Ogun State; Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, former governor of Oyo State; Mr. Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State; Dr. Doyin Okupe, Senior Special Assistant (Public Affairs) to President Jonathan; Otunba Iyiola Omisore; Chief Richard Akinjide (SAN), former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation; and Senator Lekan Balogun, a PDP chieftain.

Also at the event were Oloye Jumoke Akinjide, Minister of State, FCT; Prof. Wale Oladipo, national secretary of PDP; Mr. Yinka Odumakin, Publicity Secretary, Afenifere; Senator Teslim Folarin, PDP governorship candidate in Oyo State; Otunba Gani Adams, Oodua Peoples Congress national co-ordinator; Prof. Temitope Alonge, Chief Medical Director, University College Hospital, some members of Accord Party and Labour Party among others.

Speaking at the event, Governor Mimiko averred that: “Today, the Yoruba people have marched out in their large numbers to their political capital, Ibadan to discuss and articulate once more, an issue which for decades, has been considered to be the main agenda for their race. You will recall that for several decades, the Yoruba were at the fore front of the agitation for the convocation of a National Conference.

“I, therefore, congratulate the Yoruba Nation and all Nigerians that finally, their dream of coming together to dialogue how they should be governed has come to reality.

“Let me salute President Jonathan for his bold and momentous move as well as his focused leadership which was demonstrated through his compliance with the agitations by Nigerians to debate their collective future. Convening the 2014 National Conference was indeed a historic assignment that we are proud of and as a people, we must do everything possible to ensure that the Confab recommendations get implemented.

“The Confab Report when implemented, will create room for each state to have its own constitution, its own police force, its own prison service, can create its own local governments, can build its own airports, seaports and railways and in addition; in the economic domain, solid minerals that had been the exclusive preserve of the Federal Government since independence, have now been brought to the concurrent list.

“States can now create employment and develop at their own pace. With all that, it liberates everybody, it opens up the political space,” he said.

He Wants To Sue MTN (See Why)

I've been a faithful MTN subscriber since 2007 (8years and counting). MTN was my first love. I didn't for once step out to try any other network (started using Glo for browsing recently though).

I've endured the years of outrageous tariff, deduction of credit for callertunez which I never subscribed for, inconsistent signal. And then when other mobile networks gave out bonus at will to their customers, if MTN gives you anything for free, call them and beg them to take it back, because my brother/sister, you are not safe.. they would take it back in a hundred folds. I endured all that.

However, that's the limit. One thing I will never endure is the unsolicited messages that roll into my phone on a daily basis, there are days I get 41. undecided don't look at me like that it's the truth. One time last year, I called them to complain about it, the agent that I spoke to apologised like she meant it, asked me to dictate the numbers that sends me the messages (I did, though it was stressful), she told me most of the messages where not from them and they were authorised by NCC or blah blah blah. I believed her (dumb me... I don't get such messages on my Glo sim) she promised i'd not receive them again.

Before I dropped that call, I had already received SIX messages, and it has been like that since then, the messages multiply each day (For christ's sake, God was talking to Adam and Eve, not to these devilish messages).

Well, I called them again today and threatened to sue them, then I realised I don't even know what i'd sue them for, (mobile nuisance or something?) I don't know.

LAWYERS IN HERE, PLEASE HELP!!!

*remember I typed this in anger, I didn't proof read, forgive any blunder(s), don't bring your wrath on me Oh ye nairalanders... #NT

The Attitude That A Muslim Should Have Towards Problems

Are you troubled? Or are you worried by a problem? The following may be of help to you in sha Allah.

First, you need to know that trouble comes from two causes. Either your negligence invites it as Allah says:' we don't burden a soul beyond its capacity',or it comes as test from Allah.

Second, believe that it comes from Allah and ONLY Him has power to solve it. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaehi rojiun.

Third, don't believe anybody can help you bear your burden. Anybody that helps you does that at his convenience. Allah says:'la taaziru taaziratan wizroh huhro(meaning:'nobody can bear burden of another person).

Four, seek help on it from Allah ONLY. Pray fervently. Note that it is important that you believe in the efficacy of your prayers. Allah says:' inna llaha la yughayiru month bi qaomi atta yughayiru mon bi anfusihim(meaning:'Surely Allah will not help a group, until they help themselves').

Five,be patient. In trial times, what should come first is patience. As Allah says:'Seek help from Allah with PATIENCE and prayer'.

Six,seek repentance always. Even if its just a test from Allah, won't you be humble? And if its self inflicted, won't you seek more of forgiveness?

Seven,hope for deliverance.

Subhanaka allahumo wa bihamdika, ashadu an la ila illa anta, astagfuruka wa a tubu illaehi.

How To Be A VIP On The Day Of Judgement

HOW TO BE A V.I.P ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him)

reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be

upon him) said,

"Allah will cover seven people with special shade,

on the Day when there will be no shade: a just

ruler, a youth who has grown up in the worship of

Allah, a man whose heart is attached to the

mosques, two persons who love each other only for

Allah’s sake and they meet and part in Allah’s

cause only, a man who refuses the call of a

beautiful and influential woman for illicit relation

with her and says: I am afraid of Allah, a man who

gives charitable gifts so secretly that his left hand

does not know what his right hand has given, and

a person who remembers Allah while he is alone

and his eyes are flooded with tears." (Al-Bukhari)

We all need this shade. To be under the shade is

to be protected by Him and be blessed by Him. We

need the shade in this life and in the Hereafter. It

is mentioned that the Day of Judgment will be a

very hard and difficult Day. On that day everyone

will be worried and will try to find some protection

and shade; but there will be no shade on that Day

except the special shade and only particular group

of people will stay under it by the will of Allah.

This shade will be granted to seven special types

of people:

1. A just ruler or a just leader: It could be any

person who has some authority and he/she uses

this authority with justice and fairness without any

favoritism or prejudice. Justice is the command of

God for all people; but the most critical is the

doing of justice when one has power and authority.

More difficult is, of course, dealing justly with those

who show hate and animosity towards you. A just

person, especially a just leader or ruler, is given

number one place in this list of seven.

2. A young person growing up in the worship of

Allah: Worship of Allah is good for all people at any

age and time; but the worship of Allah from the

tender young age has special blessings. Many

people become devoted to Allah when they grow

old. In the old age when the body becomes weak,

people start paying attention to the spirit.

However, to be conscious of one’s spirit and

growing up as a youth in the obedience of Allah

bring a special honor and blessings.

3. A person whose heart is connected to the

mosque: Literally it says that the heart is hanging

(mu`allaq) in the mosque. Imam Malik explained

that it was a person who when he leaves the

mosque, looks forward to coming back again soon.

Normally people’s hearts are attached to their jobs,

business and home. Mosque is not the priority for

many people. However, those who love the House

of Allah and keep it as their priority are the blessed

people and they shall receive the special favor of

Allah.

4.Two people loving each other for the sake of

Allah: One should be friendly to all people and deal

with all people in a kind and courteous manner.

However, the friendship for the sake of Allah, for

the reasons of piety and goodness is a very

blessed friendship. This is a sincere friendship and

when two or more people become attached to

each other for Allah’s sake they bring a lot of good

to themselves and to those around them. This is a

kind of friendship that generates goodness in the

world and is especially blessed by Allah.

5. A person of solid moral character: The Prophet

gave an example of this solid character. He said a

man tempted for illicit relationship by a woman

who is beautiful and rich, influential or of a

prestigious family (the word “mansib” means all

these things in Arabic) and he refuses. Imam Ibn

Hajar says that this is not limited to a man only

who is tempted by a woman; it equally applies to

a woman who may be tempted by a man who is

very beautiful, powerful and rich and she refuses

and says “I fear Allah.” It requires a lot of moral

strength to refuse temptation when the other

partner is attractive, rich, and not only consenting

but persuasive. Those who have such a strong

character are indeed under the protection of Allah.

6. A person of charity who does not show off his/

her charity: A person gives charity in such a way

that even his left hand does not know what his

right hand has done. This is a very powerful and

beautiful way to say that a person gives quietly,

discreetly and with sincerity. His/her purpose is

not to show off, seek publicity, name or fame; but

only to please Allah. This is the highest kind of

charity and it has a special reward and blessing

from Allah.

7. A person who remembers Allah privately with

eyes filled with tears: Thinking of Allah, repeating

His Beautiful Names, thanking Him and praising

Him, these are the ways to remember (dhikr) Allah.

Doing the “dhikr” alone in one’s privacy, when no

one is watching, with moving heart and tearful eyes

is a sign of sincere faith and deep love of Allah.

Those who have the love of Allah, they are indeed

under this shade and protection.

All these seven characters are deeply moral and

spiritual characters. They indicate a person’s faith

and sincere commitment. They are related to

feeling, thinking, speaking and action. These are

true characters of sincere believers. We pray to

Allah to bless us with these characters and with

the shade in this world and also in the Hereafter.

Ameen.

Photo: Cameroon's most senior soldier killed in Boko Haram battle

Above is a photo of Captain Mbene Matute, the most senior Cameroonian army officer who was killed during a battle with Boko Haram members on Wednesday Feb 25th. He was killed after the vehicle he was riding in with other colleagues struck a landmine, blowing up the vehicle. It happened in Gamboru, a Nigerian town. He and another soldier died in the incident.

2015 Election: Igbo Man Is Nigeria's 'Messiah', Not Jonathan - Prophet Oluyemi

An Ibadan-based popular prophet, Apostle Perez Iyiola Oluyemi has affirmed that President Goodluck Jonathan is not the Messiah Nigeria needs.

The cleric, who doubles as founder of Achievers Rock Commission International and President, Africa Evangelical Council, said Nigerians should expect another “messiah” who will lead them out of their social and economic woes and not the current leader.

Apostle Iyiola made this prediction in his newly-published book entitled: ‘Prophetic Roadmap on Nigeria 2015 and Beyond.’

Copies of the books were made available to journalists in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital on Thursday.

The cleric in the book declared that “Jonathan would not be the messiah, but an unnamed ‘David’ would be”.

The publication reads in part, “While David stands for the on-coming (next) generation, and he is to be the permanent messiah of Israel, the man whose dynasty Israel would live to praise for thousands of years to come. David was also of the minority of the minority, Judah, though, spoken of much earlier in prophecy had never shown any record of much greatness except much earlier in Perez and Caleb. Unto Judah shall the scepter be until Shiloh comes.

“Though predictions had been made much earlier, Judah never rose to anything as much of greatness until David came. But the oncoming generation, the great oncoming mighty leader that will conquer all the external enemies of Israel and would usher the nation into greatness would be raised up into national fame and celebration through Saul/Jonathan i.e. Saul cum Jonathan administrations.”

It reads further: “Who is this David? I cried aloud! Once we can identify the David, we shall solve the riddle of Nigeria.”

Oluyemi stated that the spirit took him “back to a prophecy and an earlier revelation in 2010 of a man from the South East of Nigeria, specifically, of Igbo extraction who shall become the Nigeria’s messiah and lead the nation away from an oil dependent economy to a heavily industrialised nation of the world, when Nigeria will be made a great cynosure of the entire globe fulfilling her place and purpose in God’s great destiny for her as a nation, which the devil had fought for too long a time by civil war and the likes.”

Oluyemi said “it is the pact of Jonathan’s that will birth Davidic reign. The Davidic reign is the messiah reign. A messiah is coming! The Messiah that no Saul shall be able to stop though had long been persecuted by Saul in the light of the divine manifold wisdom, we walk as children of light whereby we shall not stumble. For what God permits and expects man to do, angels would not be sent to do it.

“Angels would only do what they are ordered to do. They wait on man for man to do what he (man) is expected to do. It is the right of man to vote not of the angels. Man should vote wisely by choice and not by force, out of the light of understanding and counsel, he is graced with.

“God in the context of this crossroad of the destiny of this biggest and greatest black nation on the earth has been gracious and liberal to raise a voice in the light of His Prophetic Apostolic mandate to guide us by choice and not by order.

“Even though, it is written that the steps of the righteous are ordered by the LORD but God is still magnanimous enough to lead us not as if we are robots by way of order but by our choices so that when He judges the world, God might be just to all. Choices are ours; judgment belongs to God.

“The Davidic government will be assisted and established by military helps. The Jonathan administration will have a pact with Davidic government but Saul’s spiritual dynasty will rise against David’s rising and the spiritual Saul will fall at Gibeah by military clash. That will give birth to the establishment of Davidic reign of dominion for Nigeria over all her external enemies.

“Nevertheless, the hand of the Lord will come against Jonathan’s reign before the end of his other second reign for the break of his covenant to leave at the end of the full first term which would have smoothly birthed the Davidic rule, immediately after the end of his first agreed first term.

“Therefore, Jonathan’s rule will not endure forever but fizzle out as like Yar’Adua’s dynasty did. The military will be the instrumentality of God to fully establish the Davidic rule during the second term of Jonathan which shall be the Nigeria’s Messianic Rule. Some mysterious hand will come upon the military to help establish the Davidic rule over the entire nation. Jonathanic and Davidic rules are somehow mysteriously connected”.

“I Wanted To Test Her Virginity” – Man Caught Attempting To Molest Daughter

A man arrested for allegedly attempting to rape his daughter in Ajeromi, Ifelodun local government area of Lagos State, has told the police that he wanted to test her virginity.

Leadership reports that the suspect, identified simply as Alex, attempted to rape his 15-year- old daughter in his apartment at Abiodun street, Ajegunle.

Alex was apprehended by his neighbours and handed over to the police at Ajegunle police station but

was later released on bail last weekend.

Alex was said to have asked her daughter to undress up to her underwear.

The father then made moves to defile her when she raised an alarm that attracted neighbours who forcefully opened the door.

A police inspector attached to Ajegunle police station disclosed that it was neighbours that dragged the suspect to the station.

He said: “His wife was not at home when he wanted to perpetrate the act but the man denied doing that.

A Favour That Every Lady Should do Herself

That man you are living with…has he married you properly? Can you be recognized as his wife-in the eyes of the law? If he WAS married…is he properly divorced?

Why am I saying this? It is because of the rate at which I receive the HE WANTS TO PUSH ME OUT OF OUR HOME complaints. I really do not publish all because some are so pathetic and dumb. As some ladies rush into marriage-a lot of them forget to take their heads with them. A man is separated from his wife and you are goading him into marriage…separation is different from divorce o. Ensure he is properly disengaged from his first missionary journey before you get involved. Otherwise you don’t stand a chance-should his first woman come back.

My point is that there are a few things that give you RIGHTS in a marriage and a man would be unreasonable to attempt PUSHING YOU OUT with those in place. One of such is…when he has performed full marriage rites on you, your people know him, his people know you, and the church and law also recognize your union. Just so you know that talking marriage on the social media with someone you have not made efforts to find out where his village is is NOTHING. He tells you he is divorced-have you seen the legal evidence of that? So much you can do to insulate yourself, in this era of INTERNET MARRIAGES.

Another thing is finding your feet economically. Gone are those days when a woman folds arms and legs for a man to be GIVING her. Except for some men whose ‘family welfare’ will always come first, an unreasonable man is capable of letting any distraction tilt the balance in his family life and you dare not complain-unless you want to be PUSHED OUT. Don’t forget that he who pays the piper dictates the tune-in this environment, at least. Once you take your economic destiny in your own hands, you won’t let yourself be PUSHED OUT when someone wakes up from the wrong side of the bed. When they know they can’t hurt you by their unreasonableness-they learn to TALK things over and not throw around the threat of PUSHING OUT.

In a NUTSHELL…a man, that you are properly married to (and even have kids for) can’t be threatening to PUSH you out that easily. That is your home too. With every passing year that witnesses your togetherness-your roots in that home should also deepen. Someone you have given a good number of your years to, should not just wake up one day and decide he wants to push you out and you oblige.SIT BACK IN THAT HOUSE(unless your life is threatened)…however, he is free to leave-if he wants to. That is what REAL MEN do…they leave (when the centre can no longer hold). REAL MEN don’t PUSH OUT women because they can; they don’t push out the mother of their kids!

Air Force Men Allegedly Brutalize Business Man, As Jonathan's Wife Visits Delta (Pic)

A Warri-based businessman, Mr. Larry Otu, has called for investigation and justice into the brutality allegedly meted out on him by men of the Nigerian Air Force at the Osubi Airstrip, Warri, where security was beefed up over Dame Patience Jonathan’s visit to Delta State, yesterday.

Narrating his ordeal to Vanguard, Otu, Chief Executive Officer of LYM Consult, said he was at the airstrip to receive his technical partners from Canada when men from the Warri Air Force Unit stationed at the facility attacked him.

He said: “It happened at about 9am, when our foreign partners arrived the airport and I was there to clear them at the Immigration desk. I drove to the gates to face interrogation from the Air Force men.

“One asked if I knew the President’s wife was coming today. I said yes, but that I have come to pick my foreign partners. He asked what I do for a living; I said I own the company being visited by our technical partners and he said

‘as small as you are?’

“He said okay, find me something. I said I cannot give you anything. So he ordered me to reverse my car and leave. He said I cannot drive in.

“I reversed my car, drove back to the main road and was trekking down to go in when a team of the force men, numbering about eight, pounced on me.”

Otu said his attackers dragged him from there to a point behind their caravan office at the airport and continued the beating, kicking, punching and hitting with their guns, adding it took the intervention of his manager who approached one of the officers before the assault was halted.

He said: “It turned out that my manager knew one of the Air Force officers at the airport. He ran in to tell him that it was his company’s chairman that was being manhandling.

“That was when the officer came and ordered them to stop and let me go. But before I was left with a battered, bloodied face, N200,000 was taken from my pocket by one of them.”

The victim called on relevant authorities to ensure justice by bringing the culprits to book.

He said: “I know the man who started it all and I know the one that took N200,000 from my pocket. We cannot continue to live in this kind of country. Justice must be done.”

When contacted, Commanding Officer at the 61 NAF Detachment of the Nigerian Air Force, Warri, Air Commodore, A. D. Dudusola, whose men assaulted the victim, said: “I was not present when it happened, but they said he was rude.

“Why must it be only him? That is the question that comes to mind. Others came to the airport, identified themselves properly and were allowed in.

“Nobody was touched, so he must have been rude.

“My brother, it is better to face other challenges than to face the worry that somebody came to the airport and blast himself, because it is not always written in somebody’s face. That is the truth.

“We can apologize to him later, but we had to do our job first so that somebody will not create problem for us.”
