The first set of about 300 staffs were sacked in December while about were sacked last week. i will like those who hav experienced dis to give their first hand experience . Fayose Accuses Buhari Of Embarking On Secret Medical Visit To UK, Says APC Lied

Buhari travelled out of the country on Thursday, February 19, for a ‘brief working visit.’





The Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has accused the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari of secretly leaving the country to receive medical attention.

Fayose however alleged, in a statement released by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, that the APC is hiding Buhari’s true health status.



Fayose had earlier insinuated, through a newspaper advert, that Buhari might die in office he wins the elections.

The statement reads:



“The truth is that Buhari travelled out today to seek medicare in USA. If the APC people are saying otherwise, let them publish the picture of Buhari boarding the plane and granting interview to Aviation Correspondents at the Abuja Airport.”



“While I am happy that the APC people that are packaging Buhari finally hearkened to my plea that they should allow him (Buhari) to seek medicare abroad, I must say that it was evil for the APC to have lied that Buhari travelled on a working visit.”



“These APC political merchants should say the truth and save Nigeria from the possibility of another Yar'Adua experience. They should tell Nigerians that Buhari is actually sick and lack capacity to rule Nigeria and that they are only packaging him, hoping that he will become incapacitated if he becomes president so that they can take over power by proxy.”

“Like I have maintained, the north should wait till 2019 to produce a younger, energetic and healthy president of Nigeria.”

Breaking News: Mozambique Freight Train Derails, Kills Not Less Than 17.




A Derail Train

Not less than 17 people were killed after a freight train carrying passengers and merchandise including coal derailed in Mozambique’s capital on Thursday, a railway company driver told Reuters on Friday.



The Mozambique Ports and Railways train derailed at about 1200 GMT. It was traveling from Maputo to neighboring Zimbabwe. No further details were available.



The company had no immediate comment.


Car Bomb Kills More Than 30 In Eastern Libyan City.




Not less than 30 people were feared dead in car bomb explosions in the eastern Libyan city of Qubbah on Friday, parliamentary speaker Aguila Saleh told Reuters:



Saleh told Al-Arabiya television the car bombs had targeted a petrol station next to a security building.



Qubbah is Saleh’s hometown. He said the bombs appeared to be a retaliation for Egyptian air strikes on Islamist targets in the eastern city of Derna, which is close to Qubbah.



“We are announcing seven days of mourning for the victims of Qubbah,” he said. “I think this operation was revenge for what happened in Derna.”



The pan-Arab news channel Al Jazeera earlier said at least 13 people had been killed in three explosions.



Reuters was not immediately able to get confirmation or details from Libyan officials. On Monday, Egyptlaunched air strikes on suspected Islamic State targets, a day after the group released a video showing the execution of Egyptian Coptic Christian workers.



Libya is in chaos, with two governments and parliaments vying for legitimacy and territory, four years after Muammar Gaddafi was toppled.


Heavy Storms: Tropical Cyclone Marcia Hit Australia Major Cities.




Two major storms have slammed into Australia, damaging homes, knocking out power and forcing evacuations in coastal areas. BBC was there:



Tropical Cyclone Marcia hit the Queensland coast between Yeppoon and St Lawrence on Friday morning local time. Arriving with little warning as a Category Five storm, it has now been downgraded to a Two but still threatens high tides and heavy rain.



Separately, Tropical Cyclone Lam hit a remote area of the Northern Territory. In its latest update, the BOM said Marcia had weakened to a Category Two cyclone, with sustained winds of 110km/h (72mph) and gusts of up to 155km/h. It was about about 60km west of the town of Gladstone, Queensland and 65km north-northeast of Biloela, and moving south-southeast at 18 kmh but expected to weaken below cyclone strength by Saturday morning.



The BoM warned of abnormally high tides and said people in coastal areas should be ready evacuate if necessary.



Earlier on Friday, the storm passed through Rockhampton and Yeppoon, where Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said people of had gone through a “terrifying experience”.


Paedophile Music Teacher Lured Girls to Sound Proff Room and Raped Them






Philip Pickett, who taught at a top school once attended by stars such as Orlando Bloom and Daniel Craig, has been jailed for 11 year for luring schoolgirls into sound-proof rooms so he could rape them.

Philip Pickett, from Oxfordshire, was found guilty at the Old Bailey of two rapes and two indecent assaults on victims between 1979 and 1983.



The 64-year-old taught for 25 years at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London

The court heard how Pickett lured vulnerable pupils into practice rooms where no one would hear their screams as he shut the door, turned out the light and assaulted them.



The first victim, who was 16 at the time of the attack, reported Pickett to officers in Suffolk, who referred the complaint to the City of London Police.



She went to the Guildhall School in 1978 as a sixth-form student to learn the recorder with Pickett.

During a lesson he asked her to take her top off, suggesting she needed to work on her breathing, then ordered her to lie on the floor where he indecently assaulted her.



In a lesson the following week, she was raped by Pickett. Afterwards, the victim told her mother she did not want to have lessons again.



After Pickett was arrested over the 1978 assault in August 2013, more women came forward, resulting in charges related to two more victims who were 21 and 17 at the time.



The 17-year-old woman told her parents of the attack, and they wrote to her school.

After taking a significant length of time to respond, the school said it had not received any other complaints about Pickett and suggested their daughter study elsewhere.



After he was convicted on February 10, Pickett's defence team tried to delay sentencing to accommodate Pickett's commitment to arranging three music festivals.

But Judge Wide rejected it, saying the defendant had his "head in the sand" and carried on as if nothing had happened.

Status And Honour Of Mother In Islam

In Islam, the status, honor, respect and esteem attached to motherhood is unparalleled. Noble Qur'an places the importance of kindness to parents as second only to worshipping Allah (SWT)



Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, And that you be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in your life, Say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honor. And out of kindness, lower to them the wing of humility, and say: My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they cherished me in childhood. (Noble Qur'an, 17:23-24)



One of the most convincing things about the religion Islam is the treatment of women in general and particular the high position and honor of mothers.



Noble Qur'an in several other places puts special emphasis on the mother's great role in giving birth and nursing: "And We have enjoined on man to be good to his parents: In travail upon travail did his mother bear him and in two years was his weaning. Show gratitude to Me and to your parents." (Noble Qur'an, 31:14)



"We have enjoined on the human being kindness to his parents; in pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth." (Noble Qur'an, 46:15)



The very special place of mothers in Islam has been eloquently described by Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw): "Jannah lies at the feet of your mother's"



"A man asked Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw): 'Whom should I honor most?' Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) replied: 'Your mother'. 'And who comes next?' asked the man. Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) replied: 'Your mother'. 'And who comes next?' asked the man. Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) replied: 'Your mother!'. 'And who comes next?' asked the man. Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) replied: 'Your father'" (Bukhari and Muslim)



A person came to Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) and said: 'O' Prophet of Allah! I have committed every known evil act. Is there a chance that I may be forgiven?' Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) asked him: 'Are any of your parents still alive?' The man replied: 'My father.' He said to him: 'Go and be good and kind to him.' When he left, Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: 'If only his mother had been alive.'" (Biharul Anwar)



Among the few precepts of Islam which Muslims still faithfully observe to the present day is the considerate treatment of mothers. The honor that Muslim mothers receive from their sons and daughters is exemplary. The intensely warm relations between Muslim mothers and their children and the deep respect with which Muslim men approach their mothers usually amaze Westerners.



Famous companion of Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) or Sahabi-e-Rasool and a great scholar of Islam, Abdullah ibn Abbas (ra), considered kind treatment of one's mother to be the best deed for strengthening or rectifying one's relation with God Almighty. He said: I know of no other deed that brings people closer to Allah (SWT) than kind treatment and respect towards one's mother.



Imam Zayn al-Abidin (ra) used to treat his mother with so much kindness and love as seen in the following narration:



Once he was asked, "You are the most kind person to your mother, yet we have never seen you eating with her from a single dish/plate." Imam Zayn al-Abidin (ra) replied, "I fear that my hand would take what her eyes have already seen in the dish/plate and then I would be disobeying her."



In other words, he, Imam Zayn al-Abidin (ra)was so careful not to disobey his mother that he would even avoid eating out of the same plate as her; He thought that she would see a morsel and intend to take it, but before she did he might unknowingly take that same morsel and eat it. This is how careful he was to obey his mother in the most minute details.



All that has preceded above shows how the status of mothers and consequently that of women - is elevated to the highest position in Islam.
