EFCC, ICPC Responsible For Jonathan’s Low Record Against Corruption – Clark.

Ijaw national leader, Chief Edwin Clark, has said the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has lost focus.

He, therefore, called on President Goodluck Jonathan to re-organise the EFCC for effective discharge of its mandate to investigate and prosecute corrupt Nigerians.

Clark made this position known while addressing a press conference in Abuja on Friday.

He stated that the anti-graft agency had lost its focus of prosecuting corrupt officials as it now goes after those involved in cyber and petty crimes.

The Ijaw leader’s comment came on the heels of the claim by the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), who stated that his fight against corruption will start on May 29, 2015 when he would have been sworn-in as president, if he wins the March 28 presidential elections.

Responding to a question if he was calling for the removal of the Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Lamorde, Clark said during re-organization, “anything can happen”.

He also disagreed with the current practice of waiting to receive petitions first before investigating open cases against public office holders.

Clark, who noted that the implication of Buhari’s statement was that those who were facing corruption charges or accused of corruption before May 29, 2015 would be pardoned, saying it was wrong.

According to him, “had the agencies charged with fighting corruption been up and doing, no one will accuse President Jonathan of not doing enough to fight corruption. Given that nothing substantial is being done, one is primed to advise Mr. President to immediately reorganize the anti-graft agencies”.

Uh oh! Davido's Ex Nish Kards Says She NEVER Slept with Davido; IcePrince's Gf Slams Her on Instagram

Davido now has a new girlfriend Sira. He proudly showed her off on IG and of course a lot of people are happy for him. We also remember his well publicized ex, very pretty Ghanaian model, Nish Kards.

I'm sure after Davido showed Sira off, some haters fired back at Nish with some hurtful words that made her want to set some records straight. Cos just a few hours ago, Nish took to her IG page to announce that she NEVER f*cked Davido or Wizkid after she googled her name and that turned out to be the most news online.

Then... her IG page blew up! And this happened!!! Read it all for yourself.

UPDATE: The drama got so heated on Nish's page that she has now set her IG account to private while Iceprince's girlfriend Maima has also deleted her replies.

I Never Offered Tinubu The Position Of Vice President - Pres. Jonathan Says.

President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday said that he never offered former Lagos State governor and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu the opportunity to serve as Vice President in a proposed Interim National Government Punch reports.

Jonathan, who spoke with State House correspondents in Abuja through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, described Tinubu’s claim as absurd and ridiculous.

Tinubu , in a statement by his media office on Thursday March 12, claimed that the recent attacks on his person were because he rejected the offer by Jonathan to serve as the Vice President in an Interim National Government.

He claimed that having refused the offer, the President was looking for ways to take him out either by killing him or getting him arrested based on trumped up charges.

Abati however insisted that the position of Jonathan on the idea of an Interim National Government had remained treasonable.

He said the President had made it clear that he had neither proposed the idea at any forum nor discussed it with anybody.

He added that as a democratically elected President, Jonathan’s ambition could never be to head an ING under whatever circumstances.

The presidential spokesman said Jonathan was going into the March 28 presidential election with the conviction that he had performed well and majority of Nigerians would vote for him massively.

He explained that the President therefore has no reason whatsoever to support such an unconstitutional proposition as ING which would amount to assault on democratic principles.

He said,“If you de-construct the statement that purportedly emanated from the office of Asiwaju Tinubu, you will see again the absurd nature of it.

“The absolutely ridiculous nature of it in the sense that given the configuration of Nigeria, it is not likely, totally impossible to have an ING arrangement in which you will have a southerner as the President and then another southerner as Vice President.

“It is absurd. It is not something that is likely to work given the nature of our politics.

“But the Tinubu camp, putting out that statement, were so much in a hurry to engage in their usual game of deceiving the public of propagandaism of the current electoral process, that the emptiness, the hollowness, the shallowness of their proposition escaped them.”

Did they really cut a woman's breast in Calabar because she stole? (graphic photo)

I can't verify the authenticity of this photo. Someone just sent this to me and claims it happened in Calabar. A female petty thief was allegedly attacked by a mob and then they cut off her left breast. If this really happened, then big shame to these people. And look at a fellow woman walking behind her. What a shame! See the full photo after the cut...(warning - graphic content)

Actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde – “I Used To Preach Inside ‘Molue”

We’ve heard the grass to grace stories of a lot of celebrities in Nigeria, but I bet you haven’t heard Omotola’s version.

The highly respected veteran actress made the cover of TW Magazine’s latest issue.

She talks about a lot of things and how she became a born again Christian at the tender age of 15.

Read excerpts from her interview below: –

On her dreams in Nollywood:We were coming from a place where it was disgraceful to be an actor. My first plan was to earn money to help my brothers.

When I achieved that, my dream was to make this job a success so much that people would respect me and I would be proud of myself. It was just to earn the respect of Nigerians.

On people seeing her as headstrong and arrogant:I realized I was different and it made me a target. A long time ago, when it was not popular to do so, I demanded that they pack my food on set. And they said I was proud. I tried to fit in, in the past, but after a while I feel I don’t have to be apologetic. I asked, ‘Why am I too fast?’ God told me, if that is how I made you, then don’t apologise for it.

I have always demanded high standards, I have realized that I have the grace and energy to do it. But people do not understand the whole purpose until I am done.

On her husband:I am favoured. He trusts my decisions. He knows I am not irresponsible even if I say so myself. I consider every decision carefully. He may have reservations but that is human, and that is not going to be a deal breaker.

On infidelity:Men cheat for different reasons and women cheat for different reasons. For women, it usually happens when the spouse does not show care and love. It is not really the money. I don’t lack care; how much can you possibly give me more than what I already have? Also, you have to think about what you are going to lose; your home, respect and integrity. When a woman cheats, then she really wants to cheat and it will be quite difficult to catch her at it because women are good planners.

On her religious beliefs:I gave my life to Christ when I was 15 years and I used to preach inside ‘molue’.

It is important that you find Christ and find him early. It is for your good. The fact that I found Christ early helped me to be focused. I always rely on God for direction (even when I wanted to get married), I just have to find peace with it and then go for it. I really did not indulge in those things that could have exposed me because I wasn’t interested. I don’t like clubbing. Even when I was single, you would have to pay me to go clubbing.

On her music career:I finished my second album since 2010 but it is not yet out contrary to insinuations. I am not trying to be a Tiwa Savage. My career is like a Barbara Streisand kind of career. I said I would bring out an album every five years. The next step for me is to have my own entertainment place where you can listen to my music, watch my movies and experience everything about Omotola.

On the next 20 years:In the next 20 years, I am hoping that I will be alive and God will grant me good health. I hope to be a sexy grandmother as well.
