The Association Of Beauty Pageant And Fashion Exhibition Organisers Of Nigeria (ABPFEON) has congratulated the president-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari on his victory at the polls.
Speaking to a cross section of newsmen recently, the president of the association, Hon. Ejiro Opkihwo said it was a hard-fought victory for the general who tried on three other different occasions in the past without success.
“On behalf of the over 1000 beauty queens and the over 10 millions fans nationwide, I congratulates the president- elect who emerged victorious under the platform of APC. I also commend the sportsmanship of President Goodluck Jonathan especially for displaying the rare quality of a statesman by conceding defeat honourably”, he said.
The association had recently honoured the chairman of the Police Service Commission, Sir Mike Okiro as its grand patron. Okiro promised to stand by the organisation at all times, while assuring the various beauty queens security.
