The Inspector General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba, has directed the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 1, Kano, AIG Tambari Muhammed, to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death of Prof. Ahmed Falaki.

The late Falaki was a renowned professor of Agriculture at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and was until his death, the Director, Institute of Agriculture (IAR) of the university.

There has been controversy surrounding the death of the late don with his family alleging extra-judicial killing.
